Really. Think about it. Can you define what a cup is? It's harder than you think.

Think of counterexamples for your definition. For example, if you say a cup is 8 ounces, well then so is a giant syringe! We know a syringe is not a cup...
Try to come up with a definition that fits a cup and only a cup. If it's not a cup, it shouldn't fit the definition 😀
Counterexample: "A cup is something you drink out of." Well so is a bottle, so this isn't a valid definition.
We're talking about a drinking container, not the measurement or bra size.
