not to burst your bubble, but you might have been able to get it cheaper at a local gunshop instead of a chain store. i know Gander Mountain's prices are liek $100 more expensive than the local shop I've bought guns from before.

Yeah, that is what my friend keeps saying. there is a gun EXPO that is coming to Minneapolis in 2 weekends, you can shoot any gun you want I was told. I will probably figure what is my best fit there.

A revolver is pretty hard to get wrong, whereas a cheap automatic ends up sooner or later jamming.

If you get a Sig, just make sure get one that says "Made in Germany". The newer ones are "Frame made in Germany" and then finished in the US and for the most part are junk compared to the older Sigs. Their new CEO cut corners and quality while keeping the price the same to boost profits.

Well, not knowing the whole company, with metal prices going through the roof and power also goign the same route. They may be doing this so they don;t have the raise prices. So you see them trying to save money while keeping the same price while it could be they do this so they don;t have th raise the price?

didn't say buy the nagant...they had cheap revolvers there though in various calibers.

Bersa Thunder .380 ftw. Conceals nicely in my pocket or on my ankle. Also look into sig sauer and taurus. You glock lovers can keep them. I like guns that are made of metal, not plastic.

for $250 you can get a rossi or tuarus .38 revolver. I have a rossi and it's a great revolver. Sure it's no air weight Smith and Wesson, but it's a quality gun. If you can I would suggest saving up a few hundred more. If you can budget $500 you open a world of possibilities. Now you're in the new Glock Springfield XD's, various 1911's ect.
But be prepared, getting into guns is expensive. Soon you'll want more. You'll want a rifle and a shotgun.
