Our justification is to disarm Saddam... what if he really is disarmed? What if we invade, search the whole country after occupying it, and find nothing? I sure hope there really is hidden WMD in Iraq and that we find it right after the war, because I'd hate to see world opinion if we find nothing after invading.

They'll find something...even if they have to put it there first.

So if Iraq has nothing, why are they not being cooperative. Blix was not terribly kind to iraq today.

You're right, they must have them because Bush has the receipts.

Show me the receipts.

Ask Bush, he's gott'm. BTW, I actually have seen some of the "receipts" and when I come across them again, I'll be sure to post it.

Bush doesn't keep records like that. Saddam is the one with receipts. How do you expect him to pricematch and get rebates without them?

they've already found traces and equipment for chemical biological and nuclear weapons so there's no doubt its a work in progress and just a matter of time

I really think N Korea is a bigger menace though, so it has to be handled veeeeery carefully, unlike sandman insane.

Look on the bright side, think of all the History Channel shows that'll be made covering the U.S.'s own weapons of mass destruction!

If you're crazy enough to believe that he doesn't have any then I guess I have no answer. But, looking back on history I'd say it's a pretty safe bet. Why exactly do you think he doesn't have any WMD's? What gives you that impression? The fact that he kicked out the inspectors in 1998? The fact that he had an entire stockpile that he was hiding during the mid 90's until inspections found them? The fact that he likes them and uses them? What?

Well, if there are no WMD, then I'm pretty sure they'll plant the WMD that were taken from him in the Gulf War back in Iraq.

I suppose versus the cost to the American people and lives if a nuclear warhead goes off in Irvine, California. Sound familiar? Maybe Al Gore's goons as well, since he has a fairly big stake oil too. Hypocrit.

I can only hope that you created this thread in jest...

if you were serious... We are not going to invade Iraq because it might have WMD. We are going to invade Iraq because they haven't proved to the International Community that they have disarmed which is what kept the internation community from kicking Saddam out in 91 or 92. There is a big difference.

Use this analogy....
If a police officer tells you to put your weapon down, you are going to put it down in clear view so the officer doesn't think you will use the weapon on them.

Iraq had weapons. The United Nations and Iraq entered into an agreement after they were forced out of Kuwait as a way to prevent the leaders in Iraq to lose their contry by being invaded. In that agreement, they agreed to disarm and provide the UN with proof that they have done so. To date, Iraq has not proven to the UN that this is done. The UN is taking action on that with a military force led by the United States.

and you are a dumbass if you think everything that he says is a lie. Are you against forcing Iraq to comply with the UN or are you just against Bush?

Most people ignoring the facts are Democrats that are hell bent on getting GWB out of office. Sad but true.

You mean Bush is taking action on his own with a force led by himself, right? I don't know that the UN have decided to invade Iraq yet.

LOL! And you are honestly going to believe Saddam after all the lies he has been telling? Kind of like the lies about Bush's goons where you conveniently forgot about Al Gore and his interests. Same thing would apply.

I am for Iraqi compliance. I am against distortion of the truth with lies and deceit in doing it.
