How about you rephrase this question so it doesn't assume that if there is a god, it is exactly as conservative christian preachers in the US describe? It's kind of ignorant to go from "there is a god" to assuming that the god would be exactly like that, IMO.

Or I guess, if you still want to ask the very pointless question about adultery, how about you rephrase it to indicate your question is more like... if god exists and is exactly as a conservative christian minister describes and not like the god in any other religion, would you still x y and z?
