traveled almost around the world (england, phillipines, malaysia (sabah, serawak, malaysia itself), singapore, england, thailand, s.korea, japan right before age 11.

moved in America w/ mom and 3 bros (after a divorce :Q ! )

lived in apartment w/ a mini fridge and no microwave

graduated from highschool at the age of 16 in the top 5 %, and started college at the age of 17

build my first comp 😀 ! !!!!!!!

Turned 19 already, and hoping to get in to the Nursing department, completed 59 units in my university ^_^ (3rd fall semester boo yah)

kicked ass in compsci and graduated, i was pretty proud of that... got to go to a meeting with a vc at a top firm, and even got to talk in it!

I'm starting a small business while working in public accounting...ask me in 2 years.

Graduated with a 3.95 cumulative GPA and summa cum laude (from a 4.0 system). That is including my humanities credits 😛😀 (don't hate)
I work as a programmer now and have a nice house. Volunteer from time to time (unfortunately not for over a year now ... :/)
Hoping to return to school for graduate studies (physics) at a decent school. I want to do this before I'm 30, for sure.
I have no student debt (saved up all through high school & lived at home while going to school), nor any credit card debt.
I'm 23 years old.

As for the future?
I -plan- to go back to school at age 25. I hope that I can have fun in grad school and learn a few things.
For the next two years I just want to code, get drunk every weekend, and perhaps find a nice woman along the way. I'd like to do some programming projects at home, too.
If I find a nice woman I'll keep on with the plan and have a nice life with her.
Maybe have kids around age 35 if I ever do have them (don't really want to, even in the distant future).

Other crap I'd like to do?
Get a car! (yes I have a house but no car...I'm in Toronto so its allowed)
Learn how to fly
Travel
Read more classics
Take some humanities courses part-time perhaps. I'd love to take some courses in creative writing, style and prose. (No, I don't look down on liberal arts 😛).

While I might be considered successful compared to most poeple my age, this 'success' is meaningless to me, as I never expected anything less of myself.

So to answer your question, nothing. But since I just turned 22, I am still hopeful for the future. I am working on a idea that I hope to patent and a startup which I hope will be successful, so we'll have to wait and see...

I wasn't planning on responding to this... but I've not been able to get this thread out of my mind, since you posted that.

Nononono... not stuff like that. I suppose I would view a Nobel prize as an accomplishment... but most of the things that folks here have mentioned, I don't.

These are examples, obviously... I couldn't care less about jobs, schooling, or finances, for the most part. What matters to me are family, friends, and standing up for what you believe in... and that's about it. I suppose I'll never make it very far in life, thinking like this... but nonetheless. 🙁 Yes, I know that a couple of the items on the "non-accomplishments" list could be included in "standing up for things you believe in" - specifically, serving in the Army, serving your nation, etc. The reason that they're on my non-accomplishments list is because I hate the Armed Forces.
