What has "made your day" lately?

My niece's birthday was today - she turned 4. My mom watches her and my nephew during the day and she showed her some My Little Pony videos on youtube awhile back and she fell in love with them. She has since then constantly asked to watch the videos on the computer.

So, I bought her the complete 1st season of the TV show for her birthday. The look on her face when she opened the gift was just priceless - totally made my day. 🙂

When I was driving I saw a guy on the sidewalk smiling and doing a little happy-dance. Either he was high or just really happy. Either way, it made me a little happier inside

I recently had all the books in my library rebound using covers made from rosewood and the skins of the innocent. I woke up this morning and breathed in the wonderful aroma of rosewood and tanned human skin. My copy of the bible is the crown jewel of my collection, and it makes my day to read passages, written in the blood of my victims.

Today I wrote my essay, did half of my engineering problems, did my spanish homework and studied for a small quiz, cleaned my bathroom and my room, and clipped my nails.

This qualifies as a "made my day" for me.

Team Fortress 2. Playing a pyro and lighting people on fire gives me a sick pleasure that when I describe in detail people give me funny looks 🙁

When I'm on a team that's sucks and the other team is incredibly stacked and OMGWTFBBQ - I still love this game.

It would have only been a mediocre day but clipping your nails pushed it over the top? 😉

Today, there were way too many things that my boyfriend did that made my day. 🙂

PM me the link to the video please. Thanks.

Shit! That reminds me.

No.

So did he at least spit on you since that's what you seem to like?

omg, this is pretty savage with the continuing threads...

BUT this made me chuckle:

Tired of being out of shape and easily injured, I recently designed a workout for my specific needs. It's HARD, at least for me. I missed a couple of workouts this week and felt kinda weak tonight. It was extra hard as it was the scheduled day to add a rep to each exercise, meaning it's the toughest version of my workout I've done yet.

But with all the force of my will, I got through it, without cheating on form. I really felt like I accomplished something. I'm building not only physical muscles, but mental ones too.

Isn't it cool when you see somebody really living? I have often wished I could do more of that. Forget our stupid culture that says only certain people are allowed to sing and dance in public without being considered weird or crazy.

Reminds me of when I saw ROTK in the theater for the second time. The place was probably 20% full. There was a girl in the audience who was really getting into the movie and exclaimed several times. She said (audible through the whole theater) "Yes!" when Gandalf said "Prepare for battle!", and she gasped when Shelob crept out of her hole, and I don't remember what else. At the time I was annoyed, but as I remembered it in later years, I started to wish I could be more like that. Less wrapped up in my prideful stoic doofus act and more into living.

I'm working on it!
