If it helps, Canadian troops are held in very high regard among everyone who work with them or even just interact with them.

when i travelled, everyone loved the canadians, probably the most popular group of tourists i've seen.

You think that is tricky, try understanding our military, we have Scottick, Welsh, Irish and of course English but that's not enough, we then have UK military too...

And no, the UK and the US has always and remains very close allies, the US is not a loner, but the US do have some very strange "friends" in the world that are not shared with others.

I'll give you the shower thing in my case, but that has a natural explanation. 😉

Thanks, yes I know of this. I'm not a military person but I know they did some especially courageous work during WWII and are highly regarded for it, same with Australia.

I was once admonished by my Canadian professor for having the idea that the U.S. and Canada were "step-in-step" with regards to politics and ideology. She set me straight. I totally respect her viewpoint, and from there on then, I would never see Canadians as someone who would go along with "America's" policies. Rightfully so.

Yeah, you guys hate being lumped in with "Americans." (Americans being the "egocentric" term that we use.) But that's cool too.

Anyways, yeah, the hardware I use most, the one being most "on" / most "powered" would be my monitor.

Yes, America has true "allies" but the reason is, that we helped out way long ago, and we have invested a lot of our economics into being the "best" and most fierce fighting force. England is friends with us like I was friends with the big guy on the football team. We didn't agree on much, but what we agreed on was important, not to get overwhelmed by the mass.

Haha I could not tell you as I was not doing the screwing. Just a spectator, mostly "drive by's" :biggrin:

As for different sounds I'm sure not just the the characteristics of the wood (hardness, grain, etc.) but the screw itself - flute depth, pitch, TPI, etc. Some are steel that could be galvanized, anodized, chem kote/powder coated, naked stainless steel, etc. Never though screwing could be some complex, eh? 😱
 
i7 desktops, then blackberry, then 3gs, a distant fourth is my laptop, which i rarely use because i have smartphones
 
The computer I have at home, no matter which one I go through. Easily spent over 10,000 hours on it in the past few years.
