Bow to your Queen!
(note to Neckarb, that's how you do that)
Yep, that's valid.

I could, but I was thinking I could take the high ground like a true Englishmen should![]()
Sometimes it's well deserved and trust me, Oldsmoboat can take it...![]()
I wonder if some quality of the wood could be determined by that squeal? Perhaps even the kind of wood.
Cool, we don't have Droids over here they are called something else, look good to me though.
Droid is not a particular phone or even phones from a particular manufacturer, but a carrier's brand (Verizon).
When Danger made the HipTop, T-Mobile sold it as the "T-Mobile Sidekick." When Danger made the Hiptop 2, T-Mobile already had Sidekicks made from other manufacturers (Sharp, Motorola). Most recently Danger (now owned by MS) made the Kin One and Kin Two. Similarly, Motorola made the Droid (GSM version = Milestone) but HTC launched "Droid" branded phones too (HTC Droid Eris = CDMA version of HTC Hero). Motorola made the DroidX (Motoroi X) and the Droid 2 (GSM = Milestone 2). The main difference is that Verizon allowed them to maintain their manufacturer's identity with the carrier's branded line of phones. I'm sure Danger's fate influenced negotiations!
OH Ok, I thought it was the Motorola Droid....
The people here are even more confused... they think that any Android phone is "a Droid." Oh, and I forgot the HTC Droid Incredible.![]()
I hadn't noticed this was a neckarb thread. FYI for the Limies: A doorknob is a round more or less mushroom shaped protrusion that is mounted on a door that facilitates the opening of a door. With a doorknob in place one need not any longer pull at the door trim in attempt to open the door. Kind of like a handle specifically designed to open a door. Doorknobs are most commonly made of metal but sometimes made of glass, porcelain or even wood.
Must be a new development then. Way back in the 90s when I visited your island many doors, particularly entry doors, sported a variety of pulls but lacked knobs.I have no idea why you are explaining this to us English people, as we know what doorknobs are, we have them... you know, on our doors.
