Mostly deck screws. I used to use nails most, but since the cordless screw gun came along, I've slowly gone to screws; first drywall screws and now deck screws because they're stronger. I did get away from squareheads though. From time to time I use hinges, drawer slides, and knobs, but screws are way out in front.

I think it would break down like this:

1. Deck screws
2. Drywall screws
3. Hinges
4. Drawer slides
5. Drawer pull knobs
6. Nails (nailer)
7. Picture hooks
8. Cup hooks
9. Angle irons
10. Nails (hammered)
11. 1/2" copper pipe
12. Corner bead

If the squareheads were as economical and common as the deck and drywall screws, that is all I would use. I helped my dad build a boat with aluminum nickel bronze square drives, and those were some beastly screws. I don't recall stripping or breaking any of those off.
Lately it has been mostly finish nails from a gun.

I've broken many of them from over-torquing. The head breaks. For those big screws, it hardly matters though.

Maybe my biggest dissappointment, is that I have a whole box of those wavy face nails I'll never use. There's $1.75 down the toilet!

Not me, I scab together so much stuff with drywall style screws. I still think of the gold anodized screws as drywall screws though.
