I would suggest it. I had one for a while, except I have a problem speed loading revolvers, so I traded it for an LCP.

.38sp is about equal to a 9mm in firepower.

The gun shop near me has a "special" on the .38sp LCR for 550 out the door. Don't know if I want to pay that much.

Don't. Check online, Bud's gunshop is a good place. I spend 400 out the door on mine. Unless that gunshop has the Crimson Trace package.....

Good site. They've got a bunch of local FFL's on file, too, I'll have to make sure the FFL transfer fees aren't bad and then this might be my new site to shop. Pretty good prices as I browse around.

I'd be cool with guns if they required an IQ test to buy. Most people that have guns are too stupid to be responsible and spend most of their time drunk. I had a "friend" pull out his shotgun while wasted and we had to wrestle it from him because he decided another "friend" was to much of a slacker/mooch to deserve being alive. Now I don't really care about any of these people, but I was drunk and that seriously killed my buzz.

I also think we need to just open up Texas to gun nuts. Completely legalize all guns, and make duels legal. Just to see what happens. As long as you don't shoot someone in the back it's legal. It'd be a gun utopia and I'm sure it would make some great reality tv(plus we could finally stop getting in the way of evolution).

This is my rifle!

This is my gun!

This is for fighting!

This is for fun!

I do not carry. But I have a couple of shotguns for the house.

I don't usually carry. My town and most of the towns close by are pretty tame.
Occasionally I head into the more poulated areas, larger cities, and I will carry there.
I have a conceal/carry permit and when I carry I carry a Kahr CW9.

Where I can use my CCL. I go Glock 21 in a shoulder rig, I think the holster is DeSantis, about $170.00.

Kimber Ultra Carry II 7+1 cocked and locked at all times
Carried in a crossbreed supertuck at approximately 4 o'clock. Varies from 2-5 depending on what I'm wearing and what I'll be doing during the day.
Carry while in WA.

have anyone actually pulled their gun in self-defense?

If you mean ANYONE then millions of people, documented and available online for review.

If you mean here, then yes, though I didn't have to fire. Both at work (a couple times) and privately (once for sure, once questionable).

Ruger LCP / Crossbreed MiniTuck or Glock 36 / Bianchi CarryLok concealed...or Glock 21 SF, Safariland level 3 holster, right hip.
