I am kind of surprised about that as well. His ban on gay marriage didn't go through and neither did his changes to abortion.

If I was a fundamentalist conservative, the best he'd get is a B... Hell, I don't know if there is any president deserving an A.

The thing is, a lot of people who really believe in the neoconservative concept think President Bush's actions will place him among the greatest-ever American presidents, even if, as I think most of them would covertly admit, he is a marginal intellect with a questionable work ethic. I don't subscribe to this view whatsoever, but it is out there.

sadam would be very foolish to commit terrorist acts against the US. he wasn't stupid and this isn't a religious thing with him. it's all about power and bringing the heat on himself with no obvious gain seems very out of character.
