I'm not sure if our kitchen rug is actively trying to kill me or is just a firm believer in survival of the fittest and I'm not exactly the fittest right now due to this cold.

My goodness WTF is this. I bought a tablet through Amazon. The price on a different color of the same model went down $50 overnight. I bought the new color tablet thinking I would save $50. New color tablet arrives fine. Now I am trying to return the old tablet (unopened) and my only return option is UPS pickup from my house. Well that means I have to put a $500 tablet outside on my doorstep waiting for UPS to come pick it up. And a refund is only issued "within 15 days" of receiving the package. I wasn't given the option to drop off at a UPS store. The only option was UPS pickup. wtf.

Maybe make it a gift for someone. Feels like anything you do is gonna end up with a fuckery. Bad vibes.

I just want to bring it to a UPS store and drop it off like I do all of my other returns. I don't understand why that wasn't an option. The tablet was ships and sold by Amazon.com. Not even a 3rd party seller. Seems like my credit card statement will hit and it will have this $500 tablet on it even though I'm returning it.

Not sure if I should put this in the I just bought thread, but my wife's bday is coming up, so I've arranged for her friends to take her out to this wine & beer lounge that just opened recently in our little town. I told the owners to go ahead and prep a couple of charcuterie boards for them to snack while getting their drink on. Well, they came back with a quote of $160 for 2... geez.

Amazon is really annoying me. Their store policy is no price adjustments. I went in and chatted with a customer service rep and ask about returning the more expensive tablet and now they're offering to discount the first tablet down $50. I don't need two tablets. I just want to return the more expensive one.

Can't you just issue a return then buy the other? I never really had any issues doing that even if it's simply because I changed my mind and the item is not defective. I think that's even an option when doing a return.

I wish Amazon would offer me the option of UPS pickup for returns they keep giving me QR codes for the UPS store…the closest of which is 25 miles/45 minutes each way.

Dude…he already bought the other one…but they want him to leave the return on his porch for a UP pickup.

So for some reason my internet provider is giving me 950Mbps download and 800+Mbps upload. Basically tripling my usual connection speed.
