That's the one bright spot. It's mouse time here, and I guess Freddy will be the first line of defense before the cats, but I'd rather he was outside.

Business analyst in my company pronounces GTIN as GITN (like saying mitten almost). They just did it a couple minutes ago. Drives me nuts. G-TEN FFS

Fun lol.

We get snakes in the office sometimes. Lot of mice and sometimes bats too, the bats often come from the ceiling, not sure about the snakes and mice, probably through the bay doors in the garage area. Although on one night shift I could hear something in the ceiling and then the next day there was a snake in the sale's department. Really freaked out the ladies there lol.

The other day there was a bear inside Home Depot. It's fun living in a small town surrounded by forest.

I bought a fancy glass vacuum desiccator a while back and it doesn't seal properly, even after I made a silicone gasket and use a bunch of clamps on it.

Seeing tons of pharma ads is how I realize the channel I'm watching is American. Holy crap they like their pharma ads lol.

My favourite is how they always end.

The worst ad experience in recent memory is my work buddy (real awesome fella) watching cricket on his mobile with the volume not really low enough and the Indian sports channel (belongs to Sony I think?) has ZERO sponsors (hard to believe, I know) so during commercial breaks, they play their own (&^%$$^$*!!!$#$#@@@) commercial and it honestly makes me want to enter their premises and destroy their equipment with my Magneto powers!

i'm down to only seeing commercials when i'm watching sports (NFL) , i need to get back in the practice of just muting the 2 minutes they go to commercials

No commercials for me. Since my mother died, I don't see tv anywhere.

On rare occasions I do *hear* commercials when I'm in the boss' truck. He listens to some dumbass sports station. The target audience is exactly what you think it is, so you get gambling, dick pills, and other low rent, low IQ advertising. I'd be embarrassed having someone see me within earshot of that :^S

Not today, but my wife's friend turns 50 and is having a birthday party down in SoCal this weekend. This friend is pretty well off, I guess the family or her husband rented out some art gallery on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills and it's a black tie event. 1. Not looking forward to driving 4-6 hours tomorrow depending on traffic. 2. Not really looking forward to staying in an AirBnB. 3. Definitely not looking forward to having to dress up. 4. I'm judging here, but I'm going to assume there's going to be a bunch of snobs at this thing (although I'll admit, the friend is very down to earth and since I've known her, has never acted like she has $). So yea, weekend is completely shot lol

Daughters out on a school camping thing for a few days, champagne is in the fridge, I have a couple of nice dover soles ready to grill, the kinky box is on standby for later...

Just got a phone call, "can you come and pick her up? She has a temperature and is throwing up"
