Plugging my phone up to my computer started to display Turbopower Connected on the display. I thought "WTF is that?!" It never said that before. The phone seems to be charging faster than it used to, but I'm still doing it from a USB port on my computer to intentionally limit the charge rate, so I'm not sure what's going on. I don't want turbo anything when I charge. I want Glacialpower Connected. The slower the better.
Anyway, I had to transfer something from my phone, and apparently my cable doesn't transfer anymore. Not sure what happened, but all this stuff seemed to have happened at the same time. I have a backup cable, so it isn't a huge deal, but it's annoying.
Side note... I looked up WTF Turbopower was, and ran into this video. It started out difficult, and went to WTF land. What language is that? I uderstood the beginning, but the rest is Hindi? Sounds like German with a heavy Indian accent. Occasionally a word would popup I could understand. It's probably like my cats listening to me talk. A bunch of babbling, then their name or "food" comes through clear :^D
edit:
New cable also seems to be charging fast. I wonder if a new linux kernel has caused that? I might have to dig into the system, and see if there's a way to limit power to the ports. Ideal situation would be limiting power to a single port, but I don't think it can be that fine grained.
