Been pretty quiet at work today considering what's happening. Probably has to do with the fact that our phones don't work. :tearsofjoy:

Think the CCS7 was going over that fibre. We got some weird phone issues everywhere.

Now we just lost most of our internal network... fun. I think this issue is not related.

One of my celling LED bulbs burnt out.

(it's the one over my bed.) To make matters worse, the replacement bulbs I ordered from Amazon won't be arriving until tomorrow.

This isn't fun.

I find most LEDs don't last due to poor driver circuits. I'd say more than half the ones I buy I'm replacing in less than a year as they start to act up, flickering, turning off etc. I usually buy at Home Depot and maybe it's a problem with their brand, so been buying from Home Hardware, will see if those ones last longer.

Come to think of it, I wonder if they just really hate being turned on/off. I don't even remember the last time I changed the one in my home office and it's on all the time, but the ones in kitchen are on/off more often, same with bathroom. The bathroom ones I'm changing all the time. the humidity may also not help but they are fairly well sealed so don't imagine any is getting in there.

No matter how many numbers I block it doesn't seem to impact the number of spam calls I get at all. They're all the same thing, saying they've reviewed my file and I'm approved for a loan. I get like 15-20 a day, often calling 2-3 in a row with like 1 digit changed but the same message. At least I don't get the venmo scam calls anymore, I'd get like 8-9 in a row from those.

If you aren't willing to block all non contacts, try this...

I get around 10 calls/texts a day, but for some reason, it's been more over the last 2 wks. My wife too. We haven't applied for any recent loans or cards, or made any big purchases lately so I'm not sure why it's been more recently. I'm on iOS.

My new truck has an issue with the key ignition, starting to act wonky where it doesn't always start and I have to mess around with it until it starts. Booked it in to get checked, but now I don't really trust going with it in the bush in case it dies for good. Freaking Dodge and their weird keys!

Been focusing on making extra payments on the mortgage lately and I got a super nice pay cheque due to working a stat so got about 3 grand total. Since it's middle of the month the property taxes and most other bills don't come out until after my next pay, so this 3 grand is pretty much mine to do what I want with. Decided to put it on the mortgage but apparently I reached an annual prepayment limit on it so couldn't do it. Doh! So put it on the credit line instead... probably what I should have been doing anyway.

I could ask bank to simply increase the regular payments but got it down to 20k now and if my calculations are right I should be 40 when it's paid off, my goal was always to pay it off by 40, close enough. Will focus on credit line from this point on.

We had a project that went to our planning commission last week, in which one of city council members attended. The project was recommended for approval to go to city council. Well the council member who attended the meeting emailed me earlier this week and said she wanted to meet because she had a few questions. I told her I was available today to meet, but asked her if there was something specific she wanted to talk about, or was it just the project in general. She said project in general, and she would email me the few questions she had. Well she emailed me this morning the list of questions. Turns out a few = 17 questions?!!! I just wrapped up my meeting with her and the good thing was I was able to address all of them and she left happy, but wtf? lol Council members smh....

Thanks, I'll check it out, I don't think I can go fully blocked non contacts. On another note, I spilled some beer on the numpad side of my keyboard, the numpad mostly doesn't work anymore but everything else does. I kept using it since I don't use the numpad that much but the lights have stopped working now, weird because the lights work fine until the drivers load.

Kid's flight has an hour connection time at Philly airport and he has to get from Terminal A to F for a regional flight to VA. Problem was he got the basic economy seat at the back of the flight, and will be boarding in Group 9 with his musical instrument.

Wife was scared that there won't be enough space for the instrument, plus it will take time for him to get off the plane to catch the shuttle to get to Terminal F.

She kid of blaming me why didn't i get Main Cabin just 95 bucks more? x.x well, i was told to save a few bucks!

At least he is not trying to fly domestically in China (we had terrible experiences)

Driver's side blend door actuator has gone out yet again in my 2013 impala. Been listening to this for the first 30 seconds everytime I start it up the past couple months because I'm too much of a lazy ass to crawl underneath the dash and replace it.

Fckn thing sucks!

To hell with basic economy. Especially when flying with a large object needing handling.

I hope you learned your lesson about going cheap when flying.

30 seconds? I think I could live with it that long to avoid work
