So my dad decided to go check it out and turns out the battery cable was loose. I didn't have time to start messing with anything since I had to go to work but wish I would have at least had the time to pop the hood and check real quick as I would have probably caught that.

It's weird though, because it literally started like a minute before that not to mention I drove it around before, so I just automatically assumed it was something electronic.
Loose battery connection is a very common problem. Connector may need to be changed.

Yeah will do that tomorrow, at least I know it's nothing serious. Didn't have time to check or do anything this morning and considering it started literally 2 minutes before I figured it was something more serious.

I'm slowly coming to the realization I need to move into a bigger house. There just isn't any room here for the amount of pinball and arcade games I want to own.

I got a bit of water on the water testing kit booklet so I left it out to dry. Go out to find it at the bottom of the deep end of the pool.

Kitchen sink's been dripping forever, and I bought a cartridge set awhile ago, but since I don't have shutoffs under the sink, I didn't put them in cause I didn't feel like turning the mains off. Had to go in the basement today, so I figured it was a good time to get it done. Cartridges came with a couple little springs and seals, and I didn't remember them from before, so I thought "Whatever...", and installed the cartridges without them. Well, the sink's still dripping, and looking up a video showed me the part I should've put in. The drip's way slower than before, so I'm calling it good enough til I have to go in the basement again, but that's annoying as shit. The seals are in the cabinet, and I just have to remember they're in there. We'll see...

I bought a professional drip-free caulk gun, and it really does take very little force to use it, but I think they meant "drip, free!" because this thing wastes so much product after you set it down.

Was supposed to meet up with some peeps at the National Sports Card Convention in Chitown yesterday before flying home, but they flaked on me. I was disappointed. Hung out at O'hare for 7.5 hours after spending a few hours at the convention drooling over all the stuff I couldn't afford to buy.

Typo again. Drip feely.

Generally speaking you back off the pusher to release the pressure.

Man, I'd of left and headed into the city. Love Chicago. Except for that one time when a homeless dude punched the bus driver and we had to split that shit up.

Good times.

Came in to work earlier than usual to take care of some stuff since I was off Friday, but decided to hold off grabbing some coffee until later. Was just told by our public works director that the construction crew hit our main water line and there's a citywide shutoff for a few hours. Now I can't go buy some coffee, and we don't have any here in the office...

Boss texted me this morning and said his back was fucked, and he wasn't gonna work, so I figured I'd shorten grass(dumbest shit ever!). I get the sideyard done, head to the front, and I see I lost a big mulberry leader in a recent storm. Had to stop everything. gear up, and get all that broken down. I still have a bunch of limbs that need to go through the chipper.

Get back on the stupid grass, and I lost my gas cap cause it's a piece of shit, and unscrews easily, and falls off the retainer. Find it, put it back on, then loses it again in a half hour :^S Find it AGAIN, but the retainer was gone. That was a blessing. That forced me to make a decent retainer out of stringline, and fix it right. It may still unscrew itself, but it at least won't go anywhere.

Finally, the fucking mower keeps clogging. It hasn't worked right since I hit the metal cap on the septic tank. I don't know what happened, but it plugs up now instead of mulching. I have to open the back, and dig grass out with a stick. It might be because we've gotten all the rain in the world this year, and everything perpetually wet, but something doesn't seem right. I need to really look underneath, and see what changed.

All that bullshit for the dumbest shit ever. I fucking hate grass...

That could be. That was something I suspected, but haven't looked. I'll check it out when this season's over. It works well enough that I don't want to start taking things apart to dick with it, then have more problems. I never sharpen mower blades, but hitting the metal cap might've really screwed it.

I think Spot already chased it off. Last year, she let the fox know he was persona non grata. Her approval list for the property is pretty short. Blackie's allowed, the possum's allowed, and she's a little skeptical of other cats, but they can come on temporary visas.

I suppose this counts since now I'm totally on edge after this incident.

My orange cat completely randomly decided to full on attack my black cat, and this wasn't just play fighting. He was completely attacking him claws and all, there was tuffs of hair everywhere and this happened in a flash. I grabbed him and put him in another room, somehow I didn't get scratched much but he did attack me in that process.

It kinda has me worried about what if he does that when I'm not around. That was really weird, they normally get along. They seem fine now though but keeping their distance from each other. .

I'm going to that concert too, never even seen a fight break out in Chicago and I go down there quite often.

In other new, my browser logged me out of the AT forums so I was almost blinded by the light theme.
