I have like 100 USB cables, but I can't find the stupid proprietary one for my external HD and it's the only one I have. Well, it's not proprietary I guess, I know a lot of 2.5 external drives use them. But nothing else I've ever owned does, so until I find the stupid thing I can't access shit on it :|

Also, I spent 2 damn hours cleaning up the cables in my case, it looked pretty damn good. But then I looked at the backside and realized it's gonna take me another 2 hours to clean that shit up.

Picked up one of my nifty neato pen lights with a focus feature so In could see under the table I recently made to add a shelf. Dim, not bright at all like it should be. Unscrewed the end to replace the batteries ... nope. Leaked. Corroded in. Not that old either. Got some stuff on it trying to eat it away, but I don't think I'll be able to get them out.

Kids used up all the milk without telling me we are down to the last bag. They've been using it to make hot chocolate with milk and marshmallows.

Fine, so I figure I'll use a pouch of the Carnation hot chocolate as milk substitute. After pouring in the coffee I remembered there was no milk in the powder, that was why the milk was used up.

Rolled the shopping cart out, unloaded it and went to stuff it in a corral. Walking back to my car, I see my cell phone on the ground. Didn't even know I dropped it.

-Thats the opposite of a problem.

The real first world problem is experiencing that sense of dread and panic when you pat your pockets and realize your phone isn't there...

Found some random bubble wrap at the office, as I walked by I just HAD to pop at least one, but this bubblewrap is different, and you can't pop it, it's like it's made of a more stretchy material so you squeeze down but it doesn't pop. That's just evil!

What if you do do the twist?

Speaking of new and stretchy/twisty, have you seen the 'new' cable loom? I say new, meaning new to me, not knowing how long it's been out there. Not the split hardshell type. This is a woven material, much easier to load with cable and far more flexible and expandable. Old stiff stuff can't be overloaded or it stays open. New stuff takes more cable and wraps over itself.

-There is something deeply aggravating about a plastic that just keeps stretching or an air bubble that keeps moving around without popping.

A different kind of hell.

A first world hell.

Cut a nice quarter inch slice into the tip of my right thumb with the new pocketknife I bought couple days ago.

Wasn't wearing a bandaid today and I reopened the fckn thing. Hurts like hell damnit.

Between work and Christmas time, I never had a chance to buy cat food and I'm running really low. Tried to go to Pet Value today which is the store that carries the food I use but it was closed. I hate how everything closes so early now, you can't even trust the store hours online.

I can probably stretch what's left until Monday but it's going to be tight.
