Just got to my destination at a bar in the flatiron, the amount of beautiful women I've seen on my thirty minute mass transit trip here is just ludicrous. Not a problem in and if itself, except that dating here is a clusterfuck, so a bit frustrating
Eliminate the arrogant ones. I love women who have ZERO idea how beautiful they are and they are so down to earth and humble and agreeable and just plain normal. If you can't find anyone like that there, you are looking in the wrong place.

Ate three palmfuls of dark forest honey on an empty stomach with a glass of water after roughly one day of water fasting. Now my gut is trashed.

Stop self medicating. About the only things worse than sugar on empty stomach is actual poisonous substances.

Honey is poison? It's not sugar. Combination of free fructose and glucose. And my glucose level actually dropped after consuming honey because I felt it in my head. You know, the temporary feeling that your brain is deprived of glucose when you are fasting?

In general you don't want to consume monosaccharides. It just goes straight to your bloodstream, just like a sucrose iv. Your body doesn't care if your sugar came from fruit or something else...

You are isolating glucose from the honey. Google PMC5817209 and you will see honey has a beneficial effect, unlike the isolated benefits/drawbacks of glucose/fructose when they are administered alone.
80-85% carbohydrates. IE sugar.

How many here are so lethargic (chronic fatigue syndrome) that you have more than enough money to buy a decent modern laptop with 64GB RAM but still suffer the slowness of an old (in my case, Ivy Bridge Thinkpad) for your daily multi-tabbed browsing needs?

Your idea of multi tab is not standard

You are stretching the facts, dear Sir. Carbs != sugar.
Carb is either starch, fiber or sugar. Unless you are going to tell me honey is full of starch or fiber. Sugar is the simplest carbohydrate.

Bought something just about a year ago for $700

On a lark I checked it again yesterday and it's now selling for $575.

I needed it then, so it's not like I could have waited, but everybody was expecting everything to continue to go up and that isn't the case.

Does she have a really old rig?

My desktop's been running 11 for a while and it's been great. I'm just upgrading my laptop now wanted to give that more time.

Ryzen Pro 4750G, not exactly ancient. But I think W11 installed some crappy driver and borked the system. IRQ BSOD

My neighbor's kid had a 1st world problem yesterday, his dad bought him a handheld emulator on Amazon and it came with a 32g sdcard with like 40,000 games on it. The kid, who's 13 was complaining to me that it was going to take him a week just to go thru the Mario games alone. Apparently, there are a bunch of duplicates and the naming for a lot seem to be incorrect.

I'm amused that a lot of these sold on Amazon and they come with practically every ROM ever.

If it rains, you are totally fucked and will spin out even at lower speeds. Sure you do gain that little MPG, but it is a big safety risk.
Actually that's backwards. Higher pressure equals less surface contact with the road, thus less likely to hydroplane. Same reason it is easier to water ski with larger skies, than smaller. Larger surface area, the easier it is to hydroplane.

Higher pressure will wear the center of the tread faster than recommended pressure.

That's not how it works. The manufacturer inflation rec is based on having the most contact with the road. You overinflate you have less contact with the road, thus making it more dangerous. You want more contact on the road. You need as much tire as possible making contact on the road so it takes more to make you hydroplane. Ask any mechanic.

Obviously, I wasted my time by providing a link to a tire manufacturing site...

The most unfavorable conditions for hydroplaning are:

  • High water level (1 mm and above)
  • High speed
  • Low tire pressure
  • Worn tires

This is why Michelin calls for testing tire resistance against hydroplaning in the most unfavorable conditions and therefore testing worn tires.

I never disagreed with any of that. That doesn't matter to my point.
They talk about low pressure because they don't think people are going to blow up their tires max. What happens is people forget to inflate your tires and they lose pressure and are low pressure. If high pressure was better you'd think they'd say that but they don't, and that's for a really good reason. I'm arguing against your point that higher pressure is better.

Incorrect tire pressure will increase your chances of hydroplane and that includes high pressure. Trust me I know.
I think Firestone might know what they're talking about and pretty much anything you research says the same.

"Can overinflated tires cause hydroplaning?
Tire pressure: Properly inflated tires are essential for maintaining good traction on the road. If tire pressure is too low or too high, the tire's contact with the road may become affected, increasing the risk of hydroplaning"

Ebay tracking is being weird on two of my orders and it's having me worried. One of them shows as "delivered" and there is absolutely zero way it made it here that fast especially considering it was the long weekend, and the other is showing "out for delivery" which is also impossible.

I think it means it's at the border and I probably won't get tracking for rest of the process, but it's still a bit concerning. I normally don't buy big ticket items off ebay but I chanced this, they are not the type of items that people would try to scam people with as they are rather niche. Finally got around to calling another contractor to install my wood stove chimney but seems none of them do it unless they supply the parts. I think I have no choice but to just finish the job myself at this point. I just wish the original company I tried to call the first time would have actually picked up their damn phone. I was originally going to just buy everything from them and have them install it, but they wouldn't answer so ended up buying the wood stove and parts from the hardware store.

Guess as the saying goes if you want something done you need to do it yourself. 99% of the time I do stuff myself but for this I was willing to just pay someone to get it donefaster but so much for that. Guess no one wants my money.
