*RANT RANT* Amazon's new one time delivery password shit is super annoying. I think I probably already bitched about this in this thread, but it's damn frustrating.
So you can't pick the day you want it delivered, and the day it'll be delivered I might be able to see a real-time map with how many deliveries before they get to me, or I might not. Seems totally random whether that comes up. And a lot of what I order's too big to fit in an Amazon locker somewhere so I can't do that. And unlike UPS or Fedex who will take your package to a store for pick up after a 2nd failed attempt. I don't know what Amazon does after a 2nd fail attempt. I asked 2 drivers but they don't know exactly either. And like Fedex & UPS, at least in my neighborhood, the delivery could be close to 11AM or close to 9PM, there's no telling. So now I have to sit at home and hope they come early so I'm not stuck waiting for a damn package.
I sort of understand why they're doing this now, but nobody else is, and I hope to God other companies don't adopt this. Or at least if they do, let the person pick the delivery day.
