Got like 10 total fucking useless responses to questions I asked on Amazon about products. Here's what I don't understand, I'm not sending the question to specific people saying "hay [so and so] I have a question for you. WHY do random people reply with shit like:

"don't know, I bought this for a gift so I can't help sorry"
"I don't have a measuring tape but I think it's probably around 20 inches deep" When I asked for the exact depth so I'd know if it would fit.
Apple sucks, I only buy Android.
"I would go check for you but I sold it a few months ago"

I swear half the replies to questions are totally fucking useless< I wonder if any of these people actually understand the concept that just because Amazon emailed you asking if you know something. You don't have to reply saying you don't know, if you don't know just don't fucking reply.

We're trying to get a patio slider and a couple of windows replaced. (Supply chain is FUBAR) one of the companies who came out 2 weeks ago...the most unprofessional sales crew I've ever dealt with...then came in at almost $10K...so I sent them packing...called me just after 0830 this morning...fckrs woke me up.

If I wasn't already going to go another way...that probably would have done it.

The reason you get those useless answers is Amazon will randomly send emails to people who have bought the item and it's almost addressed in a format that makes it look like someone is asking you specifically. Almost like if someone sent a bunch of PMs to someone here so when you get it you think they are asking you only. I've had it happen myself when I did not know any better where I ended up doing my best to answer the question but was not really sure. Seems like they need to fix their question/answer system so it does not give that feel that you are being specifically asked. Would filter out the "I don't know" answers.

Amazon is great for SOME things...but their Q/A and reviews are borked...and their search absolutely sucks.

The A/C in our DMS100 room stopped working and I'm sweating like crazy from going in that room for only a few minutes. It's over 30 in there right now. Put in an emergency ticket with building maintenance. There's a backup unit but it did not switch to it but I was able to get the NOC that controls all the building automation stuff to force it, so it might get us by until a hvac tech arrives.

The big fan we use for these sort of emergencies seems to have a bad start cap as it won't start so I could not even set it up to blow air from outside.

Fun fun.

I'm guessing they genuinely don't understand that. Amazon, if I remember correctly, sends you stupid nag messages about this sort of thing, so probably some people think they are therefore obliged to reply with something, as it would be rude not to.

Just burned my oven chips to a cinder, due to falling aslseep after putting them on. Now don't want to open the oven to clear the carbonised crap out, becuase I know it will set the damn smoke detector off. Really want to go back to sleep but still hungry.

WTF dude, there is a chip shortage and you are sticking them in oven and turning them into carbon residues?

Not my problem but my neighbor had her catalytic converter stolen last night. Car was parked right outside our building. Now I'm worried this will happen to family when they come visit in a couple weeks.

Had my starter stolen within the first week I had my truck. It's infuriating that these thugs get away with this crap.

Something really needs to be done about this theft epidemic, it's getting worse everywhere and for some reason they have more rights than we do. Even if you catch them in the act, you can't really do much or you're the one that gets in trouble.

Forgot Sidney Crosby. Don Cherry. Sunglasses At Night

Don't hate on Bieber too much. That French genealogy branch got some fine ears. His mom is kinda sorta MILFy for some people. It's only insecure males' world that got ruined because someone with much higher mate value exists in the world.
