Canada geese are why Canadians are so nice. Every fall we have a ceremony where we gather around a pack of geese and lay all our hatred and anger onto them, and then they fly down south.
No wonder they are my favorite animal(at this moment) then. I luv firecrackers and belligerents. Just like Jim Rome. :tongueclosed:

Not my problem but my neighbor had her catalytic converter stolen last night. Car was parked right outside our building. Now I'm worried this will happen to family when they come visit in a couple weeks.
They were talking about this on the news yesterday, even though there's been no reports of thefts in the area. They mentioned etching your VIN # on it but that would only stop legit recyclers from buying them.

Maybe those folks with the low-rider cars are the smart ones after all.

Would be cool to rig a truck with an air lift kit that can actually go into a very low rider. Rig it so if it detects the cat or any other part under is being tampered with it just drops the truck to lowest level.

Wife wanted me to drive her downtown, in her car, so she can have lunch with her friends in an outdoor patio.

I showed her the forecast, hot and humid so she cancelled

Why? I used to be able to walk into a supermarket and pick up a can of it. Now they all dissapeared. I can get mixed duck pork liver pate, but I want duck one, and not that mousse pate shit.

POS Whirlpool refrigerator shit the bed yet again after 2 new mainboards and a fan. Had to get a dorm fridge for the time being. Durable goods no longer exist.

Ma's Samsung died twice. Put an appliance surge supressor on it and a house suppressor in the electrical box...so far so good. Maybe 5 years ago.

Today I noticed that my new Gaming PC came with an unremovable copy of Microsoft Office trial on it. Seriously... it was unremovable! There was no option to uninstall it from Control Panel or the new Windows 10 "Apps" section. I ended up renaming the Office directory in Program Files so it would stop launching Office and trying to sell my wife an Office 365 subscription when she opened her oddball Word templates.

I already had LibreOffice on there, but apparently Microsoft stole all of the file associations for it as part of a Windows update and switched them back to Office at some point. Grr.

I guess that this is why I'm mostly an Apple user now... if I want a corporate overlord telling me how I need to use my computer, I want it to be Tim Cook and not someone at Microsoft :)

Debian doesn't care what I do. After a full upgrade, everything's the same as it was before, just newer. I did lose virtualbox at work, but that's because oracle didn't see fit to make a debian 11 release so far. I can work around it, and I may, but I'm gonna hold out a bit for an official package.
