Related: On whichever flavor of Android phone the engineer is using, when on a conf call, every time he receives a text message the phone mutes his mic and dings to say he has a message. Burger King for lunch (there's a perfectly awful trend here): BK has "contactless pop dispenser". It is impossible to use the drink machine w/o scanning a QR code on the machine and driving the machine with the BK app. So it was back to the counter to have the cashier fill the cup. This data mining bullshit is the purest of f'in' bullshit.

Made the perfect grilled cheese with two perfect slices of tomato.
Then it slipped off the plate and fell apart on the cats climb tree thing.
So disappointing, perfectly golden on the entire surface, cheese melted perfectly.
Remade the same thing and it came out good just not as perfect as the first.

One cat was trained well by my Wife & I. No human food was ever given to him until he got older and I started to give him a tuna dinner on his birthday and xmas or new years but this only happens occasionally. He has no interest in eating human food. I could walk away and leave a plate of food in front of him and he will only sniff and scratch around it to claim it as his. He will not eat it, he will not touch it.
Other adopted cat isn't so good, she is a little piggy. She was off napping somewhere and didn't get the chance to have any.
Dog did get a small piece of cheese while I was cleaning up.

Edit: the boy cat does have some milk left in the cereal bowl too. Same deal he waits but doesn't beg and honestly he barely takes any milk.

I had that happen once. Turns out I won a domain name in an auction. I set it up on one of those backorder sites years before, and kind of forgot about it. Since the domain was kind of in a limbo period and not actually transfered to Namecheap yet I had no way to set whois privacy so I had all these marketting companies spam calling me. Network solutions is one of the absolute worst. OMG. I basically had to put my phone in airplane mode for that day because the screen was just lit up constantly. My voice mail box filled up by end of day.

I didn't even want that domain anymore, I had forgot about it lol. I ended up pointing it to one of my sites then I just let it expire.

Planning a short trip with the wife for our anniversary in a couple of months. I have 50k Alaska Air miles and $100 in wallet funds and 80k Southwest miles. After some experimentation I find that if I book the flights on Southwest using miles and the hotel using Alaska miles I don't have enough to cover the whole hotel stay and the conversion rate is terrible on the Alaska miles so I'd still owe ~$400 on a three night stay. So the better option is to use the Alaska miles to buy the first-class round trip tickets and the Southwest miles to pay for the hotel.

The Southwest Rapids Rewards redemption website for non-flight redemptions is terrible. It won't display correctly on Chrome so I can't complete the transaction. Switched to Edge and I got 2 screens further than on Chrome but it still hangs and can't complete the transaction. Downloaded Firefox and have the same issues as with Chrome.

So irritated. This is the WORST recipe in recent history.

How the f-do you cut an onion in a 1/4 inch round. I figured it out but really poor wording in this recipe.
Onion fell apart now grill needs cleaning
Dough cooked very slow then immediately burned
Oh and we didn’t have cheese so my wife is having a small piece of burned bread with some crappy vegetables on top (except the tomato that came out great)
I am disappointed and pissed off we didn’t at least have some cheese for this.

OK, went thru 4 hydrocodones in two days. it doesnt work for shit. At least it doesnt work on me.
But I am afraid to try anything stronger. Way too many people in America are hooked.

Wow must be pretty bad then. Though some drugs just seem to not work on some people. I was given prescription Naproxen when my jaw was in tons of pain and I could not eat. Did not seem to do much for me, yet OTC advil helped a bit.

Advil + CBD/THC also got me high and took the pain away. The combo is key, as one or the other does not do that much on it's own. The next time I try that I'll make sure I'm not working though... oops.
