Installed SW Battlefront 2, it was free from Epic Games, stupid key binding will not let me assign x to backward until I remove association of x from crouch to another key...
not to mention DX12 is foobared. It gets stuck trying to "optimize shader" wtf that should be a one time job.
Geez, it's on the Epic store, but you have to download Origin to install the game. WTF?

yeah I am not happy with the whole different app store fiasco, but what are you gonna do. I imagine epic negotiated with EA and EA said you must have it from Origin or no game.

That's what happens if you get an origin game on steam too, happened to me with Titanfall 2. For me at least I can just launch it straight from origin now, I don't have to launch it from steam.

Forgot I had an Origin account for my Crysis titles - might be fun to replay them as well.

I FINALLY have a PC that will run the original Crysis with all the eye candy...it's OK. Reminds me a LOT of the first "Far Cry." (CRYTEK, so I guess it makes sense)

Did the mistake of drinking too much water at work and now I can't stop peeing, and I need to go to bed so I can get up early tomorrow for my next shift.

Since you want to move to the wilderness, may as well start practicing pissing into a bucket next to your bed.

That still requires having to keep waking up. May as well wait until the pee stops being clear before I go to bed. When it's clear it means I'll have to go again in 5 minutes.

Who says I can't have running water in the wilderness, it's going to be a high tech cabin. :p Probably have an outhouse at first though.

They are a thing here. Well not in city limits, but at cottages etc. I am not building in city limits.
Too much red tape and crap and costs are too high. Goal is to make this a cottage/camp and very low overhead monthly costs, I'd only start to live there once I setup running water and septic so I have indoor plumbing.

update this when they agree to pay for damages.
and how you got them to pay

Since you asked for an update...because we live in the middle of nowhere, it took a couple of months go get someone out to look at the scratched floor and get a written estimate. I sent it to Lowes...who forwarded it to their delivery company...they quickly agreed to pay the written estimate of $550 for the scratch repair. If the hardwood wasn't already kind of beat up in spots, I'd have fought for more, (including possible replacement) but I'm going to have to refinish the wood sooner or later...so...time for a furniture marker to hide the scratch.

The local grocery had mangos for $1 for 2. I only purchased 4 because I wasn't sure if those were any good or not but they were very decent and now I wish I did purchase more than just 4.

My hands have 3 minor cuts, one on right and two on left and I only know how I cut on one of them.

My wife bought a electric snowblower that still in the box. It might snow Tuesday, so I know what I'll be doing over the weekend.

Those are actually pretty intriguing, I hope they continue to improve as I would love to eventually get one. Gas snow blowers are actually pretty terrible for the environment, same with lawnmowers. They already do have good electric lawnmowers now.

We had a gas snowblower, and she gave it to her aunt. Lucky for me we got almost no snow last winter, and I told her back in the summer to start working out so she would be ready for the snow this winter. :p
