her school didn't give her a laptop for distance learning?
you gotta use your own?
doesn't sound like a 1st world problem.

a 1st world problem would have been:
school gave my daughter a chrome book for online learning.
no daughter of mine is going to use that peasant laptop.
unfortunately, my $1000 Dell XPS laptop died so I gotta buy her a new laptop.
maybe an Alienware $1500 laptop

She's a first grader. They aren't going to give her something like a Chromebook for classwork until middle school.

Besides, there is a difference between actual 1st world problem and an asshole ATOT'er nef version of a 1st world problem.

My bad... I'll spice it up a bit. If it makes you feel any better, pretend that I got my 7 year old one of those new 16" Macbook Pro systems to go with her 27" iMac Pro 🙂

The sis in law's kid's teacher sent a text that she was 100% proficient in 4k math.

She's in the 4th grade. Told her Ma that the ones she did were easier.
🙂

true.. a laptop breaking down and you buying another one w/o hesitation is an actual 1st world problem since a lot of people cant do that, even in the US.

but this is ATOT.. yes, that iMac analogy is more like it!

Now, now... it must be an iMac Pro. I wouldn't expect her to use one of regular iMac's like a poor commoner would 🙂

I WANNA go outside...but the fuckers have closed all the beach access roads, so that shuts down my"usual" outdoor activity...driving on the beach, searching for goodies from the sea.

Maybe you can throw a whole bunch of seashells and crap on your lawn, then cover it with a few tons of sand.

I was curious if you can use a packing tape gun for vapour barrier tape and managed to cut myself in the process.

I manage to cut myself in the most weird ways sometimes. Ridiculous office safety training modules are mandatory because of people like me.

Turns out, you can't use it very well for VB tape, but I had to try.

I ordered soap yesterday and it was supposed to be here Monday. It got here at 830 this morning. Maybe you'll get lucky.
amazon app said my package was shipped today and will be here today (mon) instead of weds.
guess there's an amazon warehouse near me.
lol

for some reason i didn't put butter on my grocery list when i went yesterday (my ability to make and use grocery lists is fairly terrible, which wasn't a problem when i could just go to the store any time i pleased). i'm going to run out soon (tomorrow?) from all the distracturbaking. shit.

Looks like another of my email providers went tits up. Netcourrier.com has been down a couple days now. It's a PITA changing accounts to a new provider.
