Been waking up around 3a.m. for the past two nights with pretty bad stomach pain, but I could fall back asleep.

Last night, I felt nauseous before dinner, but I made it anyways and felt alright right before I started to eat. This morning I had little appetite but ate a bowl of cereal, and the nausea came back after I finished. Eating lunch right now and it's not as bad. I almost felt like I was going to throw up about an hour ago.

I have a physical tomorrow so I'll ask my doctor what he thinks.

BTW, I'm giving Mayne all my stuff.
These sound like problems shared with the 3rd world.

Hope you feel better though!

Went to one store this morning, Self Checkout was closed so I had to stand in line. Then I went to another store, and their Self Checkout was broken so I had to stand in line there.
In my region, self checkout is so popular that using it means standing in line.
Well, its popular cuz the manned checkout is almost always unmanned. I hate it.

Installed Assasin's Creed Syndicate, it was free from Epyc store. Not sure I like it.

I got a free copy of one of the Assassin's Creed games last year after the Notre Dame fire...for some reason, the game company was giving it away. After playing for ~30minutes, I uninstalled it. Wasn't my "cup of tea."

I don't get how it's a franchise...

I'm running really low on all my raid arrays. I might be forced to actually delete stuff. I can't afford to upgrade.

Code:
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/md0 5.4T 5.0T 114G 98% /volumes/raid1
/dev/md1 7.2T 5.9T 995G 86% /volumes/raid2
/dev/md3 7.2T 5.9T 959G 87% /volumes/raid3

Time to clear out some of that squirrel-on-squirrel porn...

Ugh really looks like the evening shift coworker's concoction meal that smells rotten is really going to be a regular thing. He's still bringing in that shit. Was hoping it would be something that would stop after a while. No idea what it is but it smells like week old dead mice that's been ground up and mixed in with rotten chicken. And it looks like it too. I only have to suffer through it when I'm on 12h shifts so it's not every day I have to go through it thankfully. Night shifts I have to suffer through it too as he'll be done eating it by then but the smell lingers in the building for several hours.

There is one of those scent cone things in the bathroom, I take it to my desk whenever he makes it, it helps a tad but not enough. I may need to go ballistic on this and buy one of those essential oil diffusers and fire it up each time.

Ask him what it is and report back! Also, take pictures.

I had a bunch of visa gifts that I finally used today on a 2TB samsung SSD at Best Buy...I get home and discover that one of them was actually an HSA debit card....gotta back and get that portion refunded back to the card...

Due to changes at my work, we have had 3 different HSA accounts in the past 3 years...I am still using funds from one 3 years ago and haven't even touched any $$ in the 2 newer ones...at least not until today... :(

Nah, nobody checks that shit.

:p

Side story using the kid's 529 for college...just withdraw it. Wut? "Yep, hold onto the valid receipts." Wut? Surely, some nefarious individual could profit.

Man I burp so much, like tons throughout the day, and I don't think my diet is related to it.

I've had it for years but I can't remember if it's been as long as since like high school or younger. Maybe, I kinda think so.

Maybe I should try one of those Gas-X type pills or something? It's annoying as poop.

You may actually need more digestive fluids.
If food isn't thoroughly dissolved it will ferment/gas up.
The gas can also carry frothy acid up and cause heartburn.
That's right, low stomach acid can and does cause heartburn.
In that case, taking meds to reduce acid creates a recurring problem.

One thing you could try is taking a shot of vinegar after a few bites of a meal.
Careful though, if not cleansed or diluted with food it can dissolve tooth enamel over time.
You should be able to notice after just a few meals if the vinegar is having any positive effect.

Just realised my pre workout drink has 200mg of caffeine in it(stopped drinking coffee due to sleep problems). Not a great loss as the only noticeable effect was tingling ears from the beta alanine :p.Waste of money.

Huh. Suppose I could give that a shot. I haven't looked into the issue at all yet either.

Thanks for the comment!

They had some new Fresca flavors at the grocery store. I picked up strawberry & I think blackberry. I didn't read the label carefully enough...they're not Fresca, they're unsweeteend sparkingly flavored water by Fresca. I hate flavored water (water enhancers are OK tho). It tastes like drinking plain water after you eat Skittles. Now I'm stuck with 23 cans of sparkling nasty water.

Bleh.

I ordered a phone from Samsung's site, and they cancelled my order 1/2 hour later stating "they couldn't verify my payment information". I knew the charge went through because I get an immediate email from Chase when I charge something over $25. The phone then was then listed as out of stock on their site, so I figured that was the real reason.

After being a little irked about it for a few days, and considering getting a Pixel 4XL or OnePlus instead. I decided to give Samsung one more shot (same card, same info as before), and it went through just like it did the first time, but this time they didn't cancel the order. On a positive note, I saw that Rakuten had 10% cash back on the phone, so I took advantage of that for the 2nd order. Since I get 10% back, and I don't know how much Rakuten keeps on their end, but all I know is Samsung lost some of their profit by not keeping better in-stock inventory on their site. :p

Takes me hours to file all of the license for the state at the 1st of the year. Now, the board of financial institutions has decided that we all get to join the NMLS (Nationwide Multistate Licensing System & Registry ). I spent 4 hours on it yesterday and may be 1/4 the way through. They require that I submit a business plan...after 15 years of being open and 33 years in the industry.

Fine...."I plan on lending $$ at high interest rates to people with poor credit and collecting it back with whatever tools it take to achieve this goal."

Open to suggestions.
