You should be scheduling your cleaning six months out after you have one. At least, that's how my dentist's office does it.
I switched dentists since I moved. I'm going back to a previous dentist and they're really good so they're always booked.

My dentist is always super booked too. Had a loose filling but they could not see me for like 3 months. Had to improvise. Hot glue works ok. It was a front tooth so easy to access I just dabbed a small amount to seal the crack. They actually sell kids for DIY dentistry, should look into that just to have it on hand. It's basically similar to the stuff they use, a UV reactive resin.

Interesting. I wouldn't trust kids with dentistry, but I wouldn't mind buying a couple to carry my stuff at work. They're nice cause it's a one time expense, as opposed to an employee that expects to get paid every week.

lol meant kit, but that is more fun. Kids that get a quick course on how to do it and then go to town with a dremel tool. A rental service would be better though, it's too much maintenance to own one.

What 3rd world hole do you guys live in? Or am I just spoiled? If I get off of my 6 month rotation then it's a wait time. If I have a problem, 2 days max. Hell, called on a Friday night and my DM called in a script that night.

It does help that this is small town USA, she lives .25 miles away, I can hit her office with a rock in the other direction, I've known her hubby since junior high....

Spoilt might be the right term.

Well you can usually get in on a cancellation, but that's kind of hard to do when you work. You get really short notice, it's pretty much like "yeah we have a cancellation can you come now?". So I usually don't bother getting in on that list as I won't be able to make it anyway. Been a while since I've been in that situation though. If I was REALLY stuck I would probably just call a bunch of other dentist offices and see if they have openings on a day I'm off.

That's true for a cleaning for me. Yeah, no, I can't close shop because you're 1/2 a mile away. Like wal-mart, I don't get paid unless I'm open and have help to cover.

Let me see about that tooth.

I was at Walmart last night to get a couple cases of bottled water (gotta be ready when the zombies hit amirite) when I happened to see something that nearly made me fece my pants in glee: dried kiwi fruit! I was so happy, though there was a tiny part of me that was thinking "what if they taste bad." Well, they don't really taste "bad," but they sure don't taste like eating a regular, fresh kiwi. MOTHER F'ER. I'll eat them cause I don't wanna waste them, but dang it, I was so happy. LOL. fml

These are the ones:

Aaaaand I'm having second thoughts on the mobile game I'm working on. I feel like no one is gonna want to play it, like it's not a good enough idea. But maybe it's just more important that I get something completed and in the store. I'm under absolutely no illusion that I'm gonna get millions (or probably even hundreds) of downloads, I'd just rather not spend time on someone that no one will play. But odds are it'll sit at none or a few tens of downloads, lol. Part of my negativity is probably an excuse not to work on it, haha. Bah I think I'll just continue on.

Remember, a simple game like Flappy Bird using graphics from Super Mario made millions. Worth giving it a shot.

I should sit down and learn mobile development one of these days. It just looks like such a pain to get setup for it but it would be cool to make apps and stuff.

No, Gerbil Strip Poker is definitely not a good idea.

The parcel of land I was kinda interested in went from 40k to 150k! So much for that. The other one next to it is still 40k though... 1k per acre, and access to a river bay is pretty good deal.

It's not in an unorganized township though so probably best to wait I'm sure something better will come up.

Red Squirrel: Yeah it's crazy how popular some games can all of a sudden get. I'm not sure how, I think a lot of it is luck (just the right things happening to it). The graphics in my game sure ain't complex; they're in that low-poly style like this:
Low-Poly-City-5.jpg

If you don't already know how to code then it would definitely be a learning curve, but game development nowadays is better than it's ever been. Unity is what you want to be using and there's a ton of tutorials all over the web and YouTube for it. You can also check out Udemy for courses on Unity. A couple years or so ago I managed to pick up a big game development course on there for like $10 or $15 (it originally was priced at several hundred dollars) thanks to Slickdeals.

Yeah I want to learn Unity actually. Start with a simple game, then maybe even make a MMO or something. Always wanted to do something like Minecraft but more MMO oriented where everything is server side and where it's scalable to thousands of users at once. Huge project though, I find my focus when coding is not the same as it used to be. Like right now I should be coding a website and I'm neffing. lol.
