Been debating the bag. On one hand, people like what they like, and jul's about getting people what makes them happy. On the other hand, fuck sending $250 to China. I think I'm going with fuck China. Looking on etsy, and Bags by April has some nice looking bags, and one of them is Nightmare Before Christmas. $56, and made in USA. There's a couple others I think the girl might like even better, but not NBC themed. It'll do...
Got three cool things, from USA, Australia, and Ukraine, all for less than half the cost of Chinese shit.

WTH tire shops? Do you really have to torque lugs to 8 million lbs? Wife had a flat this AM. Of course, it's cold and raining. At 210lbs, I barely have enough ass to get the lugs off and that includes the ones on the effing spare.

My oil got changed at a shop two times ago, and I think they used an impact wrench to put the drain plug back. I had to crank it off with vicegrips, and the oil pan was deforming while trying to torque it off :^S

Had the same happen. The washer looked like a mushroom. Effers.

My freezer's full of tobacco with more on the way, and I'm running out of room for food. The snus to food ratio's about 5:1

I received a M&Ms "filled" candy cane. The fill line was just above the clear part at the bottom of the cane and the rest was empty. Bastards.

The lights in the lamp post get turned on an off by photoelectric switches which sort of suck. At any given time you can have just one or two on, especially when it's cloudy. They also raise the bulbs up too high.

So I decided I would put in a Zwave wall switch. That would control them together and I could program it for dusk to dawn.

What a nightmare. I avoid doing anything with electrical circuits but can generally handle a simple wall switch. Except this is ganged with 2 other switches on the same circuit. And since none of the switches really needs a neutral, all the white wires were connected.

But the controller does need it. I eventually figured out that the neutral is the return circuit. And by trial and error I figured out which white wire was "live." Then it was a trip to Lowes for 15ft of 14 gauge conduit I don't need so I could pull out 6" of wire. But on the plus side, it seems to be working and nothing has blown up or caught fire yet.

Tired as poop. Not feeling the greatest for some reason. Need to take my cat into the vet (just for checkup/shots) but I'm too lazy to schedule it. I gotta send back the knife I had ordered cause it's not exactly what I thought it was. And the knife that I do want (multiple different models) are all out of stock. Still gotta get Mom and Dad Christmas presents but I at least know what to get Dad (gotta find it still though). My few month old boots are delaminating at the toe. FML

Yeah that's kinda bullshit, I used to use it like 95% of the time to get back to the main OT page. Now I gotta hit the f'ing Home button to get to the top of the page? BULLSHEET
Didn't know that worked. You can hit the blue up arrow on the bottom right of your screen.

So the kid will have 28 college credit hours when he graduates high school. (smart like his Mom). He thinks he wants to be a nurse anesthetist, subject to change... Anyway, the college of choice program still keeps him from taking his 1st nursing class for 2 years and puts him on a 4 year track instead of 3. Granted most of the 28 hrs are the core, english/psychology/sociology but also includes calc and chem. The whole idea of taking college classes early was to cut some of the costs and time.

A colleague sent me a link to a report earlier in the week. The report was about 18MB zipped. This morning I get a message saying that the earlier report was not the final, final report and that I should download the really final final report. Okay. The new version is 1.2 GB for the same info. I was like, "Dude, WTF did you do, tell Arc to render at 1800 dpi?"
