USB ports stopped working for flash drives, and I can't work out if it's the PSU or the motherboard. Can no longer sync anything to my music player.

In my experience, that is an indication of a failing motherboard.

Can't find figs. My daughter wanted them to make something for thanksgiving. I guess it isn't fig season.

On the bright side, I got the last three poke bowls from aldi, and I scored a tofurkey from the natural food store. Kind of looking forward to that. It looks good on the box.

I actually wanted to go to church today as I try my best to go on days that I can, but I was ridiculously tired this morning so decided to just go to second service, then I slept through that alarm too. Now I feel bad for not going, but also feel bad for wasting time that I could have worked on my shed instead. If I'm going to skip church I should have at least done something productive in that time other than sleep. :p

I just lost a whole friday. Dont know how. When I woke up yesterday, I honestly thought it was friday.
It was not friday.
it was saturday.

Actually I guess I lost a saturday, not friday.
Anyway, I was supposed to do something on Saturday and now I gotta wait a whole week for the opportunity again.

I work shifts I always get confused with day of week, especially getting off nights since the first day off is technically not really a day off, since I have to sleep from arriving from the last shift. So I basically lose that day.

When I worked a 12 hour night shift at Hynix I had kind of a problem keeping track. Mostly cuz I slept during the day (poorly) and was frequently awake at midnight regardless of whether it was a work day.
New problem is: without a job and my mom retired & home all the time, EVERY day feels exactly the same.
I need some temporary work to keep me grounded. Am one of those people who doesnt have much going on in life and employment is what really defines me.
(little insight if you've wondered why Shorty has been an asshole the past few years)

Yeah, that would get to me too. I tend to like consistency for several months and then I wake up one day and want to be a truck driver in the Yukon or an author in Key West. I have to shake up my life as much as possible while staying employed. Do you need to stay home or could you get a job away from the house? My father was a retired full-time caregiver to my mother when I was a kid and he would often complain to me about the monotony of his life. I didn't really get it at the time, but in hindsight he had more fortitude than I think I have.

My first world problem is that my cold is ending and my lungs are saying "Okay, time to get rid of all of this crap inside of us". That and the fact that I got very little done last week and that's all going to have to get done, so my already long days will be getting longer. Joy.

I need to buy some replacement electronics ASAP, but it would be economic suicide to do it today, so I have to wait until Black Friday to place the orders :p
