its 90F outside, we are on AC restrictions because of load on the system, its over 75 in my office and someone has a fucking space heater on because they are cold

That's messed. 75 is hot especially for an office environment, that's 24C.

Our AC unit is odd, it seems to not run enough. Like thermostat shows that it's set to 71 but actual temp is like 71.9, and it does not start. I understand there has to be a "dead zone" to prevent short cycling but it seems like it's too big. I located the sensor on the circuit board so I occasionally go hold my thumb on it to make the thermostat think it's like 85, then it starts the unit for a bit. It won't let us bring it lower than 71. Considering it's using imperial, and won't go lower than that, can tell it's probably American. 😛

We have two huge Climateworx 16 ton units in the equipment room one wall over. I keep saying they should just run a return and supply from there with a damper that's controlled by a thermostat. Done. Would be more efficient too, those units would barely notice any load difference and not run any harder.

My house is set to 78, but I have ceiling fans, which makes a huge difference. I also have a lot of tree cover. My neighbor's ac was grinding away for weeks before I turned mine on. Dunno why big trees fell out of favor. I see subdivisions that still look like the cornfields they were built on. A few crappy bushes, and some shitty bradford pears, but otherwise, flat and ugly.

I am trying to be healthier recently and now I am craving cold soda and candies and a few greasy foods so bad. Must. Stay. Strong. Mind. Over. Matter.

I ate too many nuts and M&Ms and now I have a sore stomach.

I'm stuck in a hotel room for the evening (don't even think about driving in Phoenix when it rains, people are full-on retarded in the rain). I had pepperoni slices*, cheese slices*, orange juice, and an It's It ice cream sandwich for dinner. It was glorious!

* not pizza, just pepperoni and cheese

Fail. Took me 2 hours to find a store that would take my effing CFL bulb. It's always the kitchen bulbs blowing cause they're used the most and turned on/off the most frequently. One that broke lasted maybe 1.5 years.

Meanwhile, my LEDs are running on year 3.5 now -- catch is that it gets turned on/off once or twice a day then stays on.

Edit: I want to compare an old edition book to a new edition. Closest library that has it is on the other side of town... but the closest bookstore that has it is within walking distance. Am I an asshole?

Noooo... Found out that the cheaper, sub-$10 LED light bulbs of today are cheaper in quality than my $25 bulbs from a few years ago. Aw, I miss those weird, space-age yellow bulbed Philips bulbs.

My cat puked in my bed last night at like 4-5am, the sound usually wakes me up instinctly and I can throw her off the bed before it discharges, but given I was pretty much at my prime deep sleep, me waking up was slightly delayed and the damage was done before I threw her off. There was a huge sludge puddle of puke right on the comforter next to me, and another one right on the floor where I threw her. Had to do an emergency bed sheet change in middle of night. My throat was hurting from me yelling at her and I was overall fuming so it took me a while to get back to bed.

With all that, I blew through my alarm, don't even remember getting up to stop it, and got woken up by my boss phoning me. 😳 To add insult to injury, I have a coworker who decided to just not show up for his last few shifts... including today's, so there was only one guy in the office till I got in. It was around 8:30ish when my boss called me, I was sympatetic as I realized what happened as soon as the phone woke me and I picked up, so took a quick shower and headed to work. Probably the fastest morning ever, think I was in by like 8:45. I skipped shaving though so by end of day I looked like a lumberjack in training. Just shaved not too long ago, feels good.

My boss jokingly gave me heck when I got in and just laughed and is like "you're off the hook". At least I actually answered my phone when he called unlike my coworker who has been MIA for almost a week.

As a side note, there might be a job opening in my dept. :awe:

As a completely separate FWP... I brought my bed comforter to the laundromat and I totally forget at what time I did, so I am not sure when I should go back and now it's bothering me. I asked if they could move it to the dryer when it's done though, so at least even if I go later, it will be ready.

Sounds like mr kitty needs some hairball treatment.

Not hair, just food. Tried switching her food several times but always same deal. She's good for a few weeks, then goes on a puke streak for about a week, then good for a few more weeks, rinse and repeat.

I was thinking it was maybe because she was eating too fast, but last night's incident kinda proved that as not being the only cause, because she puked completely out of nowhere while sleeping for at least 4 hours.

Canadian Tire sells pills and pill dispensers that might fix the problem. They're usually found in the hunting department. 😛

"Yelling?"

I can't get worked up over my cat puking on the bed. It happens way too often.

Puking all the time is probably why my cat never coughs up hairballs.

I can stay up late tonight because I've got a training class tomorrow

my boyfriend went to bed early

... but I can't play WoW because the servers are down :\

I waited one traffic light cycle to avoid having to walk beside a vacuum street sweeper -- very loud and dusty -- then instead of proceeding through the intersection, it did a wide U-turn from the far-right lane right in front of me......................

And I spent 3 hours to/fro Ikea. Place was packed. Dafuq? On a Wednesday night.

Ordered pizza for dinner. While cleaning up after dinner there was a knock on the door. Neighbors brought over a freshly made pizza from their new pizza oven. I was too full to eat it fresh. At least it's almost as good warmed up.

I've spent beaucoup dolares in the past week and have 5 packages coming... It barely hits my wallet but I feel guilty.

Edit: Also, my Amazon package that was "damaged" last week? Now it's gone missing or something. It got reshipped automatically, had an estimate of this week, now the estimate is two weeks later and the tracking page has an apology. The item had an origin of Kentucky... My Vancouver package has already made it here in 4 days, customs could take a few days, but not two weeks.

It's just a fucking cable... which for some reason is extremely difficult to get in my country.
