Not a problem any more.

Managed to get Amazon Customer Service to REOPEN my closed/blacklisted Amazon account (something they apparently don't do, as a commandment, right or wrong, for anyone).

I can now ride out my Prime membership.

Had to meet a friend for lunch and couldn't find a space. One finally opens up but pulling in I tap the bumper of the car behind me. A very light tap, no chance of even a scratch let along damage. But there is a guy on the sidewalk smoking a ciggie. He doesn't exactly give me the evil eye but it felt like one of these.

It's a university down and parking is for shit. If a street isn't resident only parking, then there are no-arm bandits which now apparently take credit cards. There are decks in town but they're hella expensive.

I hope you left a note about how someone saw you and that you were sorry then promptly drove off...

"Yelling?"

I can't get worked up over my cat puking on the bed. It happens way too often.

Puking all the time is probably why my cat never coughs up hairballs.

Bed is like the worse possible place for something like that to happen, it's not like you can just wipe it down... you have to actually sleep in that. Requires to undo the whole bed, and comforter does not fit in my laundry machine so means I have to go to laundromat, which is closed at 4 am, so no choice but to have some puke soiled comforter rot in my basement for the rest of night and following day till I can bring it after work. Thankfully I had spare sheets, bed liner, and comforter. But that whole ordeal still sucked hardcore regardless.

I'd rather have her caught up a hairball than food sludge that soils everything and smells like death.

Speaking of cats, I learned the hard way not to put a house plant outside... well not exactly a "house" plant, but last winter I started growing a blue spruce just for fun, basically just used a seed off the one in my front yard. It took a while to germinate as I did not have a proper grow light or heat source but once I set that up it germinated. It was just a small sappling but I figured now that it's summer I'd put it outside so it gets more real natural light and heat.

Some cat must have peed in it. The plant was dying so figured it was from too much water due to rain, so I brought it back inside... then it started to smell like cat pee. Doh. Threw it out, I doubt that soil was any good at that point. :p Will have to grow another one when I build a proper temp/light controlled grow box.

I had a bush planted outside. Two of the same were purchased at the time, planted 2 meters apart. One was closer to the curb/sidewalk... Guess which one bloomed beautifully and the other just slowly withered away, never really grew. Grass beside that plant was also dead/dry from all the dog piss.

How on earth do you get blacklisted from Amazon?

My new hydro equal billing plan got changed from $170/mo to $270/mo. It's time to shut down all my servers and replace with a small cluster of Raspberry PIs... Was talking with people at work though and really I don't even use much power, while my servers use about 400w, that's pretty much the bulk of my usage. I have no kids or wife, I tend to do stuff like laundry off peak, etc.

I want to buy an out of print study guide but it's been discontinued and fully ISBN'd and copyrighted. Tried contacting seller while ago -- it's a university -- they blew me off with some garbage reply linking to a log-in only site. Guess I'll try again...

It is so hot outside right now.

Per Weather.com, it is 98 degree with a heat index (how your body feel) of 108 and UV index of 9/10.

How the heck people were able to live down here before AC/electricity and with all those heavy cloths plus they could not wear shorts or have their heads, arms, and legs showing in public.

This is why I am glad that I work in an office and not outside/construction.

Getting paranoid about the fluorescent lamps in my monitor and 40" TV. I can afford to replace with LED but they're still working... And the 40" LCD TV will probably only sell for $50 since new ones go for $400 now -- bought it for $900 new around 2010, FML.

My brother bought me tickets for a Mariners game Sunday (for my birthday). I was initially excited because he said they were front row. Then I found out they were front row bleachers in left field. :|

It took me 5 tries to remember my Anandtech password so I could get on the new forum. OUTRAGED!

Oh, someone should go into the forum dictionary and add Anandtech as a valid word. Red underline......TRIGGERED!

I went to my favorite forum for trolling, and when I got to it someone took a giant shit on the forum formatting. It's so bad I can't even effectively troll.
