Just got racially profiled at a particularly ethnic indoor flea market. The shop owner was Asian. After greeting us, he made a bee-line to the stereo and started playing John Mellencamp's "Summer of '69." It couldn't have been more blatantly obvious what he was doing. I hate that song with a passion!

Would be even more profiling if Mellencamp did the song, was never really a Bryan Adams fan myself ():)

Anyway, the wife wanted me to decide between onion rings or potato salad with the cheezeburgers. At least it was a minor problem, just making both.

Thanks. I was mixing it up with Jack & Diane. They're pretty much the same song, right? I mean, I hate them equally and for the same reasons (sickeningly forced sentimentality). ;)

Purchased one ticket for Mega Millions and did not get even one single number.

Time for another try.

I like a lot of Mellencamp myself, detest Bryan Adams.

Personal taste is always personal :thumbsup:

I was in the washroom yesterday and it smelled like shit/stale urine.

Turned out it was the dead mouse behind the door in the adjacent room.

I had to cut my vacation short since my wife got sick. So I am back home and not taking train ride today.

Just got racially profiled at a particularly ethnic indoor flea market. The shop owner was Asian and he was surrounded by weave shops and other businesses that cater to minority ethnicities. After greeting us, he made a bee-line to the stereo and started playing Bryan Adams' "Summer of '69." It couldn't have been more blatantly obvious what he was doing. I hate that song with a passion!

Triggered. Micro-aggressions hurt!
How is that racial profiling? Age profiling maybe.

Summer of 69 is not bad.

That doesn't sound very Southern.

The calculator in Linux Mint does not have square root (how retarded is that?) so I had to use the calculator on my phone.

Use grpn. It has many functions, and uses rpn as Odin decreed. If it isn't rpn, it's wrong.

Went to the dollar store looking for kippered herring, and struck out. I was on a roll for awhile, but they stopped getting it. I have about 60 tins, but they go quick, and I particularly like the Beach Cliff brand.

Decided to go start digging up a 1m x 1m square in my lawn for a cement pad that I'll make for my new A/C unit that will be installed in a few weeks, but it was way too hot, so I went back inside, I'm now in my small office with door closed and 1 ton portable A/C unit is running.

I'll wait till like 8-9ish when sun won't be quite as strong.

One of the local taco stands puts lettuce on the tacos if they think you're anglo and cabbage they think you're hispanic.

I gotta go out in a bit to blow money on new speakers. Then I might have to walk to another store out of my way to blow a couple more bucks.

And thanks to Ikea's Malm safety notice thing, I was reminded that having my unsecured giant bookcases crash into me in the middle of the night isn't a great idea. Should probably shore that shit up. I mean, it's been fine for the past decade since I'm not in an earthquake area and no children around.

Use the speakers to shore up the bookshelf.

I agree with IronWing. Use the new speakers to shore up the bookshelf by placing as much weight on the top portion of the shelf as possible.

Ordered MREs from Amazon, and forgot I wanted carbolic soap. I always think of stuff not worth a order on its own, but forget to add it when I make another order.
