I've already ordered my cases... but what kind of sleeves do you have in mind? I saw some CD/DVD cases or "books" that looked bulky on Amazon. I'm trying to minimize volume because it's all going into storage -- and I want the least possible amount of volume, which spindles seem to do.
Unless you're paying by the cubic cm, spring for the binders with 4 cd/dvd sleeves per side.

Here you go - 400 disk capacity

It definitely is. But how much space will 8 spindles at 50 each take up? I don't think you're saving much space. And god forbid you should ever actually need to find one of those disks . . . .

I thought I only needed space for 50 initially. I may need 100 to 200. I saw the 128 disc version of the Amazon bag, but that may be too few. The 400 disc is too many and I'll never "grow" into it because I'm never buying another disc if I can help it -- music and movies from iTunes, games from Steam, backups on USB drive or external HDD.

And I probably won't ever need any of those discs again. It's for "permanent" storage. They're all old old PC games and driver discs for devices I threw out already...

I'm more surprised people don't skip my posts yet. Thank you, audience!

^^

FWP thread has been slow lately. With little competition, your spindle thing is currently setting the bar.

First world problem all week. In a mini suite on a cruise but limited to Pepsi. What kind of third world floating hotel doesn't have Coke?

The garbage dump is also a kind of "permanent storage". Just sayin' :sneaky:

I've been using Gillette my entire life and just bothered to look at Schick... their razors appear to be around or cheaper than Mach3s. What the hell. Meanwhile, got a Fusion blade to try out recently and never buying more of those at ~$5 a blade -- they are nice though.

I can't remember the password to an encrypted note program on my phone. I don't use it, but wanted to give it once over before I uninstall it, and I don't know if it's good or not :^/

OTOH, I've discovered folders. Instead of 100 zillion programs spread over a thousand pages, I've reduced it to one page of folders, and one page of apps. I also got rid of two home screens. I have a cluttered life, and that's the way I like it aside from my computers. I like my computers organized, without crap spread everywhere. Feels like I got a new phone.

Seriously dude, try out a good twin edge safety razor and some decent blades, you'll never miss a Fusion, Mach3, or a Gillette.

I like the Personna's myself, but many blades out there for them. But just cost/perfomance/convience they blow those 5 bladed things away.

Overheard some self-righteous bitch (I know her well, she is) talking about how someone working in the financial sector as a trader wasn't contributing to society, but she was... She's a programmer/QA for some internal derivatives/analysis program at a major bank -- stuck in the same position for 5+ years.

You really can't fix stupid.

Saw some old woman at the fleamarket with two super-cute yellow labs (an adult and a puppy). I also saw her repeatedly hit them for absolutely no reason. Couldn't hold my tongue. FWIW, there are "No Dogs" signs all over. It didn't make any sense. They were particularly well-behaved/obedient, waiting as she had instructed earlier. She returned & started yelling to "lay down!" Confusingly, they were already laying down. They didn't know what else to do so they sheepishly squinted, preparing to be hit. She escalated to hitting exactly as if she really was waiting for them to obey!
