Do you lose like a page? That's pretty cool.

So, I'm trying to avoid using my cell phone so I don't have to charge it... Battery's low, I have to make a call, but I'd have to plug it in afterward:(.
Nope, it always came out for me. Your mileage may vary. Usually the fax will show how many pages it is too.

Of course not. It doesn't start transmitting until the modems hear the carrier and handshake. The initial beeps are just "I'm here. Say something to let me know you're a machine too and then we'll work something out."

For all that, it would have been much easier to use a stitch remover and resew the edge.
Which is what I ended up doing.
Previous shirts had easier tags: Rip a few seams and it'd tear right out, or else it was stitched in on its own and wasn't a part of the normal seam, or was very minimally stitched.

This one was going for Fist of an Angry God resistance.

A built-in "safety" mechanism, who'd have thought...

Meanwhile, I bit my left cheek yesterday, but today, I have a canker sore on my right cheek. I hate my mouth.

Some fuckwit spent 5 minutes drilling a hole because he's too stupid/cheap to use the proper drillbit for steel.

Can't decide what time to do the Sam Adam's brewery tour on Saturday since the marathon will be in town and they're only open until 3. What kind of brewery is only open until 3PM on a Saturday?

I have a hill eroding on the side of my property, and I wanted to lay out the property line so I can figure out how I want to handle it. Brought all my gear home to get it done, but found the boss left the iron detector on a job, so I can't find the front corner.

This shit never happens. What are the odds that my equipment is missing when I want to use it? I'll tell you... 1:1 :bangshead:

*shudders* I had to hump a meter long bar detector through the woods and up/down streams. Bad memories...

Anyway, some asshole broke a spoke on my bike. It was in storage and some asswipe shoved a bunch of garbage between my bike and a wall, managed to break something. I was going to get rid of it this summer, now I've gotta cut the price.

Looked at some glasses at Costco. I don't normally wear them since I can easily get away with just reading glasses, but there are times when it's convenient to have a pair that are good for both reading and distance.

Costco has a pretty limited selection to begin with. They have maybe 150 frames, which sounds like a lot until you realize that they only carry one size of any given style. So if you find pair that you like and it's the wrong size for your face, tough shit. You'll take what we have to offer or you can go f*** yourself.

It's no great loss since I can easily find what I want online. The only issue is that I have to measure the retinal disparity myself. I think they call it PD for pupil distance. I guess I'll do some showrooming to narrow things down and get a proper measurement and then buy online - unless they offer me a competitive price. I don't mind paying a little extra for the service.

My cable box is resonating. There's been a fairly loud and annoying buzzing sound. Thought it was the DVR's hard drive acting up but touching the case made it go away.

Edit: Forgot, I have about a kilo of cornmeal and flour left. Gotta use it up soon so it doesn't go bad, and more importantly, so I won't feel bad about wasting it. What a pain it is to have a surplus of food.

I can't decide which big ticket restaurant to book reservations to - italian, or japanese? Italian is $100pp for 4 cources, japanese is $150-$195pp for 10-24 "courses".

Your ethnicity matters here... which is a bigger novelty?

On the other hand, Japanese place might make you sit on the floor like a peasant if it's "authentic."

Work has been keeping me working as of late instead of letting me browse and post on ATOT. :(

Got all my gear home, found the corners, then staked the line in the area of concern. The new next door neighbor comes over with her mouthy assed dog, and asks if I live there(getting ready to start shit is what she was doing). When I said "yes", the air coming out of her self righteous balloon was perceptible. I don't like her already. I'll reserve final judgment for later. Maybe I misread her.
