Nails are an icky yellowish color but no amount of cleaning them out seems to help. Embarrassed to be seen with them atm >.<

Use polish?

I got an OtterBox Defender for my phone at the thrift shop. The holster is the wrong one. Sigh... I'll probably go back to my old case til it self destructs.

I want to get some stuff done outside, but there are two more cold days left. Seriously, almost mid-April and it's still freezing here.

My dog had her first accupuncture session today; it was $115. Future sessions are $109. They're also suggesting cold laser therapy at $50 a pop.

This means I'll have to buy Moet instead of VC.

This is a joke, right? HAHAHA dogs don't get accupuncture.

Currently trying to find French-dubbed Simpsons but I'm looking at iTunes and they only have a few... My French sucks, but it's good enough that I understand that the reviews for one season are by Quebecois saying that the version sucks.

5 years ago i was playing Final Fantasy 7 and i was at the part where yuffie steals your materia.

i was going through the rope bridge and got stuck at the entrance to the bridge.

so here i am stuck 19 hours in to the game and i can't do anything to get unstuck.

yesterday i was playing a different saved game and i decided im going to really try this time to get unstuck.

got my gameshark and started trying codes.

used one to get a chocobo after battle and when the game loaded up i was on one and i was unstuck.

huzzzah!

By the way you can get FF7 on Steam now. It works on a wider variety of OS's and they support much higher resolutions. Also they fixed a couple of bugs, but not all of them.

I'm going through withdrawal from Coke/Pepsi/sugar and need a fix. Looks like I'll have to go and grab a case and hump it home:(. I can order it online from Wal-mart, but I don't trust the postage system to not explode the cans in transit?

And it's -2 C (~28 F) in my shithole country.

Just saw a hoarder "collect" another portable space heater. Gotta have 20 because reasons.

He's so mentally deficient that he doesn't get that people throw those out because they're probably faulty/busted (i.e. will probably start a fire).

It could be the result of a subconscious desire to deal with his hoarding issues. After all, nothing cures hoarding, at least temporarily, like a good house fire. Let's just hope that he also collects working smoke detectors.

The 48 oz box of organic gluten free cereal my wife buys from Costco won't fit in our kitchen cabinets without laying it on it's side, and it annoys me. Sigh. Guess it's time for a remodel...

All my coffee percolators are dicked up, and don't get hot enough anymore. I pulled out my old bunn, and got it working, but there's two issues... It isn't big enough(I can work around this since it brews fast). It overfills my now extinct permanent filter, and I get grinds in the cup. I tried scrubbing the plastic filter, and put a hole in it, so I have to go to walmart tonight and get a new one.

My plastic one was guaranteed for three years, and I used it more than ten. I suppose I can't complain about that, but I'd rather not buy a new one, and I'd rather have my percolator work.

Break it down and put it into stackable containers. Even if you hold on to the cereal for a few months before using it, sealed containers should keep it just as fresh. And if you really want to get fancy, you can get the containers with a valve that let you use your food sealer to suck out most of the air.

Had a FWP to post but couldn't easily find the FWP thread because somehow I was no longer subscribed to it and AT Forums' search function has always been broken on Tapatalk. That, too, is a FWP.

Original FWP: We set up a printer at our mother's place so she would stop hassling us to print unintelligible garbage and bring it to her. Now, this is the kinda stuff she does with it:

That's the first of four pages that I found when I checked in with her before work this morning. Hours later, she's on her way to the hospital because this Potassium Permanganate stuff caught on fire in her home and she burned her hand trying to smother it (doesn't work for self-oxidized chemical fires!).

Prepper bullsh*t. She keeps going on about how lucky it is that she was home when it happened when THAT CRAP NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN ANYONE'S HOME! FYI: she has three sheds.

^^ Chemical disinfectants are necessary during drinking water well installation to take care of bacteria introduced during installation but can not make up for poor sanitary habits. If the well isn't installed correctly with a properly installed sanitary seal, the water will only stay clean until the chemical disinfectant is gone.

A client left a phone message, "We've had a spill here, please return call." Now the client is not reachable by phone. No indication of what was spilled, volume, or severity. Liquid Paper on a keyboard? Town now looks like post-hobbit Mordor? No context provided.
WTF, it wasn't even a spill. A dozer went where it wasn't supposed to, causing minor damage to an embankment, which was repaired before the client called.

I stupidly googled Potassium Permanganate: second link was a prepper site. Apparently, it starts a fire when mixed with certain easy to find chemicals. Wikipedia says a certain mixture results in a "violent combustion reaction."

Don't understand why not stick with bleach, filters, UV...

Oh, and a package of my saltines were semi-BURNT! OMFGBBQ.

Even contact with sugar will start a fire. Spill your soda on it and...
