Driving to work today in the backroads I got behind someone going really sluggishly. Like I had to really focus on driving and sit on the brake to not absentlmindly hit them.
 
buddies band is playing at a bar near me tonight, but i'm tired from the 5 miles I ran after work. Can't decide if I should stop in for a beer, watch a bit and leave .... or just be old as fuck, study a bit, watch some breaking bad, and crash. 🙁

I had to buy bus tokens from a machine and it spit out like a dollar of change in nickels... I just spent the day getting rid of $10 in change.

Edit: Dafuq? My Amazon order shipped from Kentucky again. Hebron, Kentucky? I had to look that up on a map... and then I found out Kentucky wasn't in the south! It's like the same distance to New York City from where I am. Shit, are they shutting down my local fulfillment center?

Sort of a problem.

I just went from being a cord cutter to getting cable again. Ordered cable late Thursday. To get my cable box, I could do free 5 day shipping or 1-2 day guaranteed for some ridiculous price like $40. So for $40, it would probably get here on Saturday.

Well, it is Saturday and guess what. It was on my door step today at about 10:30 am.

First world problem: Companies that charge $40 for nothing.
 
my supermarket had an incredible sale on eggo waffles ($1/box).

I bought like 15 boxes and eating a box a day (10 waffles) + a ton of butter.

I've gained soooooooooo much weight in the past 2 weeks that I decided to throw out the 15th box.

I want to buy some 15 lb or 25 lb dumbbells on Amazon... but I don't want to order a set of two at once because I feel bad for the postal workers. And they'll probably scratch the hell out of each other in transit.
 
Had a coupon for BigLots, and bought 18 packs of Ocean Prince jalapeño tuna. I had gotten Bumble Bee brand before, and really liked it. Problem? It's fuckin' made in China. I don't even want it now. I'm usually pretty good about checking food origin, especially fish, but I didn't check this time :^S

You'll be lucky if there's any actual fish in there. It's probably this kind of tuna.
 
The liter of chicken broth I bought for $2 had a broken interior, foil seal.

The exterior, plastic cap, security seal was closed properly. But upon opening, there was nothing over the mouth -- there's usually a paper or foil pull-off sticker thing. I went WTF but thought I'd still use it until seeing the paper/foil sticker thing pushed in on the inside. Poured that sucker down the drain.
 
Our upgrade to business class to Australia cleared. Unfortunately the best two remaining seats are backwards facing at the back of business class That means that cattle class might be allowed to gaze upon one of us (their betters) with their dumb jealous faces until the curtain is closed

It's funny you should mention this because I had what I believed to be the same issue this weekend with a container of beef broth.

The plastic cap on these containers actually removes the foil seal when you open it. The fine writing on the container points this out.

If it was one that has the flip up lever style cap then for sure yours was defective.

oil went up but stock market is down?
nasdaq is down almost -1% which means the biotech I'm speculating 5 figures on that I know nothing about...

Gas price is going up slightly and I do not have enough points (Kroger) to get the $0.10/gallon off.

Also, don't feel like cooking so I have been eating out a lot lately. Need to win the lottery so I can get a chef to cook (healthy foods) for me.
 
how the hell did I miscount how many shares to buy?

I'm now $150 over my regular 2x margin and am into daytrading's 4x margin.
now I need to sell a little by end of close else I get a daytrading margin call warning. 🙁

sucks to do a trade (and fee) for so little shares 🙁
