Damaged the stick of my Jeff Carter bobblehead while putting it next to my Albert Einstein bobblehead.

Over the past few days tutoring a relative who is rather tech illiterate about conserving cellular data and using wi-fi as often as possible with their new iPhone 6s (at least they didn't get the gimped regular 6) and getting them to trade up to more than the 16GB (wtf Apple?!?) base storage option.

Man, TONS of problems today.

- The battery in my key fob for my Civic died as I tried locking the car going into work this morning. Gotta get a CR1616 battery.
- Work is out of our usual coffee and the replacement (hopefully temporary) sucks manwang. I'm not even a complainer or picky but damn, it ain't very good.
- As usual, got 5 or so hours of sleep last night. Tired.
- Didn't have time to start car before work so I left it running at work for a bit (I live 5 mins away).
- Fuck this coffee, and my life.

It sounds like you are calling him a sucker for buying his media. Are you serious? There are plenty of problems with leaked/downloaded movies too, you know.

Buying media does not mean ignoring the benefits of AnyDVD HD for legitimate reasons. It does not mean tolerating DRM and prohibited user operations. That's why we own AnyDVD HD and have hacked PS3 firmware. We have a way around it, he's only complaining about their war on legitimate users possibly causing a future problem. We paid for our content. AACS and MPAA can go screw themselves.

Looking into enlisting again, and it looks like they lowered the uncorrected vision standards in the U.S. Army since I last checked about a decade ago. They have NOT lowered the standards in my country from what I've seen. Booo, I'm borderline even for rear echelon, desk jockey jobs -- exactly what I'm after. I could get Lasik and open up my options but... 5-10% chance operation might not be successful.
 
For some reason I thought vacation was next week, but it's actually the following week. I have a whole work week next week........... Balls.

If you love power equipment, the NE is the place to be. In the summer you can ride around on your zero turn radius mower. Then in the fall, you break out the wood chipper/mulcher. In the winter you get to use your big ass snow blower, although not as often as some of us would like.

Shit, I'd take 50 degrees in a second at this point. It's supposed to drop pretty rapidly this weekend (ie, 19 tonight). I don't think you realize how good you bastards have it over there. If El Nino arrives, I'm going to assume the bar and cigar lounge is still open for business. Or maybe I'll go check out the 50,597 places I've got marked for when I visit. I've recently added The Edison, and was planning to go there on Sat night with one of the chick's I'll be visiting there.... but I checked their events page and it's closed for a private event - FML!!! The only available night is the next Tuesday (16th) before I leave. It must happen. Being in the power industry, I'd nerd the fuck out in this place. I'd feel like I'm at work, but drunk off my ass. :awe:
 
Oh, damn dirty English... I'm looking again into enlisting, have never been in before.

Main reason is money. The job market sucks, current career sucks, and alternative is 2-3 years back in school running down my savings with poor job prospects. Won't lie, weapons training sounds fun.

Ask me a decade ago and I would have said something about serving my country and fighting the good fight... lol.

Tim Horton's messed up my coffee order. They gave me a double double instead of black. Now all I have is keurig coffee. I'm at work so can't leave and get another.
 
had an amazon prime delivery attempt unsuccessful cause slackers at work that were supposed to cover the front desk went first world awol. FML
 
My new home is a 4 bed, 2.5 bath.

Wife and I had trouble referring which bedroom is which. Also I had to take additional 15 seconds to my wife which door she left open.
