I want to get a cast iron deep skillet for frying shit, but I don't know if it's deep enough at 3".

It looks like a dutch oven at 4" would be better but that thing is like twice the size and weight.
Are you talking about deep frying or just cooking in oil. For the latter, I don't think you really need anything very deep. But for the former, a deep fryer is the way to go. You can just put it away after using it and recycle the oil. That lets you use a healthier but more expense type of oil. Otherwise, you're going to be wasting a lot.

Probably pan frying... maybe an inch of oil to save oil. May attempt deep frying with another inch of oil.

I hate plug-in appliances so deep fryer is out.

The work building is almost empty and I have to be here 2 more hours. What to do?

Fuck around online. There's always interesting ways to waste time.

The van I use is in the shop, so the boss lent me his girlfriend's car; a Malibu. Tires didn't have enough air, and my compressor's in the van, so I had to use a bike pump. Problem is some of the stems are very short, and only crack open using the pump. Took way more effort than it should have. I left them low, but acceptable. I'll try WaWa tomorrow, and hope the pump isn't broken(slim chance). I won't pay for air, especially from those stupid machines that are broken more than not. I asked about the oil, and he said it was fine. Knowing him, I checked myself. A quart low :^S

Tim Hortons was closed when I went earlier today. I could really use that coffee right now. Have to settle for Keurig brewed coffee.

I went and got Tim Horton's donuts yesterday evening around 6pm. Didn't get a chance to touch them until 1pm today... Holy shit, all the chocolate frostings melted. And I kept them in a room that was only around 20 C. Good thing I put the box on a plate.

I have a cast iron I fry with myself, 3" more than enough.

Deep fryer is better if your going that route of course, but if trying it with cast iron I would get a Dutch oven.

Most indoor Dutch Ovens aren't even the ones I think of from growing up, those were the old campfire ones you could bury in a campfire with coals on top I guess.

Too icy to run on the sidewalk so I ran on the side of the road and felt like people were giving me disapproving looks.

Interdasting. I was thinking this, originally, but 3" seemed shallow since my sauce pans were 4" to 4.5".

This one looks pretty awesome, aside from the 15 pound weight. The lid doubles as a skillet though, which seems awesome.

Wife bought me Weathertech floor mats for Christmas. You'd think installing floor mats would be simple. What a PITA it was (not the product fault).

Bro bought me this long, cylindrical battery that suppose to charge your smartphone, but it doesn't. It just charges my flip phone. It needs more amps.

Bought myson a ps4 star wars battlefront edition. Turns out you need PSN plus to play multi player... Battlefront is a multi player game:facepalm:

Raining last night and raining this morning so it was a wet Christmas around here. At least the rain is gone for now because more rain is coming on Sunday from the weather guy.
