I can't find one good do it all file manager for iOS. I can get one on the App Store side that can connect to my server and download a file to its sandbox, and I can get a good local file manager on the jailbreak side to move it afterwards, but there is no one app solution.

my parents think I'm really poor and it's kind of awkward :/

like, I know my BF and I don't make as much money as they do (both of my parents made 6 figures before my mom retired this year), but they offered to help me move and lug boxes today as if we can't afford movers on our measly $130k household income.

I don't want to dissuade them too much, because fuck -- maybe they'll take pity and leave everything to me in their will. lol. god knows my sister does nothing but brag about how much money her family has, although I suspect that their household income is pretty close to mine and my BF's (plus we don't have 2 kids to support)

Trying to get new fonts on my phone. Why the fuck does it have to be so abstracted that I need to "install" them via apk?! I found some that are installable, but I don't know what most of the licenses are, and they aren't the ones I want. I have the extra delight of dicking around with the built-in Flipfont font manager, and I don't know how it works. If I want to use the fonts I like, I'll have to learn how to package them myself. So much more convenient than copying them to the /fonts directory :^S

Edit:
Found the font I wanted prepackaged. Averia Libre. I still need to learn how to package fonts though. I don't want to rely on luck for setting up my system.

I'll list my wife's.

One of the cats refused to eat a small bit of her meatloaf, I told her that sounds like a first world problem.

It was a bit spicey.

I'm having sleepless nites because I cant figure out how to invest 6 figures.

I hate seeing the $ just laying there on my table not working to make me more $.
(the $ is in the form of a check.)

Tonight I agonized for a full 10 minutes about whether I should get Chipotle or go to the grocery store and cook hamburgers, which would be cheaper and marginally healthier. I chose Chipotle. :p

Give it to me. I'll stick it in some sort of fixed-income ETF, promise you an up to 50% annual return and charge a 2% MER.

Low load mutual fund that focuses on mid-cap value stocks.

Give it to the ATOT crew.

We will turn that measly six figure check into a nine figure gold mine! :awe:

Windows phone? I suspect that would be even worse. I'd prefer Android added some GNU to the system, and didn't assume everyone wanted a dumb appliance.

I am pretty sure that a big part of the rise of mobile devices is because almost everyone does want a dumb appliance instead of a hard to use and "emotional" PC that has viruses and freedom. Heck I am happy that Android is as open as it is seeing as how it will be the Windows of the future.

If you really want Gnu on a phone why not hunt down a Jolla phone?

How much of your life have you wasted on fonts, themes, and wallpapers? That's the FWP... :p

I played around with fonts and themes a little bit with Win95A back in '96/'97. Now I've got some mental condition where almost anything that's not vanilla / standard / default is revolting to me.

I've finally started to put my Win7/8 taskbar on the left side instead of the bottom because it makes better use of screen area, but I still keep running into usability problems as a direct result of that deviation.

jesus christ. i thought i had it bad with two w-2's and a few 1098E's :(

quick (probably stupid) question while we're on topic: I took a new job in Sept. which required me to move. I received my previous employers W-2 (with old address) and new job W-2 with new address. Do I input these as-is or do I make them both my new address?

One more reason to not go into business for yourself.

IRS doesn't care where you live as long as you pay up...sucker.

90% done with the pita annual report and adobe crashes. Of course, I hadn't saved. Idiot.
