I was all ready to buy a ROG Swift monitor when my now in stock alert came through, but by the time I had it added to cart and was checking out, they sold out.

i feel your pain man. twice today i've clicked on Health and Fitness only to end up not on Health and Fitness. Not because i clicked on Health and Fitness but on where it used to be (last link under 'Social') and end up on H & G :\

Fact: on average 27 people disappear on cruises, never to be seen again nor body ever recovered. So, that is the best scenario, in the event, you realize you've made a mistake and want an easy out.
 
I got stuck doing tech support at my parents house for 2 hours (had intended it to be a 5-minute stop on my way home), and now my chili isn't going to be ready until +9 pm because I got it started so late 🙁

It's never a 5 min stop when it's relatives or computers. Thank God I pushed my bro's stuff off on someone else.

definitely would have planned on being there longer if I'd known... I had intended to just drop by and say hi.

as I was walking out the door, I get the "oh yeah, and my internet doesn't work and my phone doesn't ring when people call me and I keep getting popups on my laptop and my printer isn't there on the computer anymore and ever since your cousin used my laptop while we were away, it makes me hit control delete alt to log into it. is that normal? it never did that before."

Feel for you. Got my folks a computer a few years back. My sis screwed the shit (gmail when they had a ATT account) and went back to FL, amongst other things. My Mom still calls about the email account on her ATT bill that she doesn't use.🙄

I am understanding some of my Dad's asshole attitude when Mom calls bitching about the small print in the phone book. "I'm going to call them." Ma, they don't care. "I'm calling them anyway." Old people...but I do still have her.:thumbsup:
 
Damn drive to work this week has been double time in both directions just about every day because of the damn snow. Today the sky is blue from horizion to horizon. no wind, no snow, no icy roads, nothing. Damn drivers going 80 in a 100 make me late for work. mfrs... rage. rage rage rage.

Oh well. At least I'm not in western NY.
