There's buying nice, and then there's being ridiculous. Really need to ask yourself if a purse that costs 10x as much as another also has 10x as many features and if it will last 10x as long to justify it. I doubt it.

It's the same reason I can't justify the cost of a new car. A new car is at least 10x a used car, and it won't be 10x as better or last 10x as long.

Salvatore Ferragamo handbags are, anyway. Ponyo, let ATOT pick your wife's next handbag. Please?
Here's my contribution...

Great bag. Durable, has waterproof lining, and comes with convenient removable pack straps to free your hands for other things. Also makes it harder to purse snatch(is that still a thing?).

Since coming out as Pagan, so many forcing their will and beliefs onto me. I had to set the record straight quite a few times cause well they are ignorant and blind. Typical christian behavior is to control EVERYTHING. They hijacked many pagan holidays over the centuries and made it about them , isn't that enough? Nope apparently not. Mind as well be raping me, forcing anything onto someone without consent is a form of rape.

This isn't about envy it's about pity. Conspicuous consumption is not only a disease, it's ugly.
Are you lost where you're posting? Read this thread title. I didn't say you're envious. I'm not envious of people with more resources than me. I would be miserable in life if I was. Like I said, different people are in different financial situations. I don't tell people who buy Rolls Royce or Ferrari they're dumb or sick and need help. It's their money. They can choose how they want to spend it. If Rolls Royce or Ferrari brings them happiness, good for them.

My wife likes handbags. So if new handbag makes her happy and I can easily afford it, then I'm ok with it. Happy wife, happy life. You don't know my financial situation.

Salvatore Ferragamo handbags are, anyway. Ponyo, let ATOT pick your wife's next handbag. Please?
:D. I don't really care about handbag designs. She asks me which handbag she should buy next and shows me different ones. I tell her I have no idea as all are ugly. I just tell her don't pick out any Birkin or Kelly bags as I'm not buying that.

People have different priority and likes. I don't understand all the nerdy computer stuff you seem to waste your money on but I get that it makes you happy. You seem to think price=value. It doesn't.

I dated a "Daddy's little rich girl" for about thirty seconds when I was a yout. She came to me all excited one day because her phone bill that month had dipped below her rent that month. She was full of pride when she bought her latest new car "all on her own" using her clothes collection as collateral. Her parents had a balanced turntable for cars in the driveway. It required an initial push of about 30# to turn the car around. She always complained it wasn't electric and always demanded someone turn it around for her.

I see you're one of those poor who think they're better than the rich because you work hard for your money. You're sad old man.

so your voodoo is being oppressed by the majority?
sounds like a 3rd world problem and not applicable to this thread?

Well ain't that sumthin'. Never considered that, but based on an image search, that appears to be a thing. Looks pretty useful in some special(tight) maneuvering situations.

Given the concept of what The United States Of America was founded on, one of those being freedom of religion well its certainly applicable. Nice wording, another one bites the dust enjoy the bin.

FWP...cut down a 12+' tall deodar cedar that previous owners of my house planted (a) too close to the fence, so the back side has to be constantly trimmed or it pushes the neighbor's fence over...and (b) is too close to the road, making it difficult to see when backing out of the driveway...so...limbing it and cutting the trunk down was no problem...but the stump...only about 8" diameter...but with large, deep roots. ended up having to cut them with a sawz-all so I could pull it out with my truck. After it was out, I noticed something in the bottom of the hole...fck...piece of black "cable." I know the cable feed runs down that side, but I thought I was clear of it....fortunately, NOT the cable co-ax...black cable just a bit larger...with numerous pairs of wires inside. FCK! phone cable, I think.. Fortunately, I don't have Century Link service...so it doesn't affect my house...checked with the neighbor...his works...<phew>
So, being the responsible idiot I am...I called CenturyLink and reported the cut cable...I'll find out tomorrow if it's theirs...and if they're gonna charge me to repair it. If they want me to pay...fuck it. Not gonna do it since I don't have their service anyway. Let the next person who owns the house deal with it. :p

Wow I thought it was Sunday today. This pandemic makes even weekday shifts feel like weekend shifts since I'm the only one in the office.

Started seeing doors open and was like "what the hell nobody is calling before going in to buildings or what?" We've had lot of break ins to lot of our sites... and now also people setting towers on fire apparently (none of ours yet though). So can't be too safe.

After calling the 3rd person it clicked that it was Monday not Sunday. I feel like an idiot now lol.

so you cut all the roots off leaving the stump?
did you pull out the roots as well? (saplings will sprout out of cut off roots)

I've manually destumped trees before with axe and saw and shovel. Just enough so I can put soil back over what's left. Never had sprouts yet... That was a job and a half though, gonna rent a mini excavator next time. :p It was hedges so not that big, but there were like 10 or so stumps that were around 6" in diameter.

Call before you dig. I guess technically you were not really digging... :p

 The problem with "call before you dig" is that(at least here) the locators only locate the utilities at the street. Once they cross your property line, it's up to you to hire a private locator service.

cut as many roots as necessary to pull the stump. It's nearly impossible to get ALL the roots, but I got what I could. Never had a problem with saplings growing from the leftover roots. I mean...it COULD happen, sure, but....

My appetite is in the toilet. Thought it would get stronger after starting working out (after getting zero exercise for years). Turns out it's actually gone down. Fml

Anxiety and stress messes with me badly, got something on the mind perhaps? I can imagine most do. I suffer from a thing called Hypomania and its been very active lately more so then usual. Causes me little sleep, then tons of energy then i eat essentially nothing sometimes for days cause my body is under tremendous stress. Yet the odd thing is i am overly happy and usually in a good mood. Lost so much weight cause of this.

I need to meditate and think on things often to relax, sometimes i need indica cause it brings me closer to another place. That and it helps help me with pain and all of the above as well.

I feel for you and hope you figure out whats illing you :(

I love lightly salted cashews. One of my favorite snacks.

I didn't eat any last year because I was going low carb but the other day at the grocery store I thought to myself "Fuck it. If I'm going to die from this virus I might as well have some lightly salted cashews before I go."

So today I open the can, pour myself some into a small bowl, get ready to enjoy, and.........GACK.

I bought honey roasted cashews by mistake. They're DISGUSTING. They taste like cashews with sugar poured on them.

Screw this life.
