I was slightly inconvenienced by a 3 hour flight delay last night so I got home late. Went straight to bed instead of playing games =/

I couldn't find the manual for the breadmaker so I had to wing it. I selected the base program, but it's a semi-white meal with some corn meal and sunflower seeds in it so I'm not sure it's the best one.
Also the graduated container didn't have the notches to indicate the level with a precision of 10 ml, just 50 ml 100 ml etc., and I needed 330 ml of water. So I winged that too.

Let's hope it works out fine.

Went to Costco to buy big things. The line for the $1.50 hot dog and coke combo was atrocious. I decided to go to Longhorn Steakhouse next door instead as they just opened and there was no wait. Had a $30 steak and some good beer.

Around here Longhorn's only steak close to $30 is their porterhouse at $27. Most are $25 and under.

My Longhorn has a steak & lobster entree and the regular price is only 25 bucks, not to mention they sometimes have specials.

But their drinks are expensive. You can get a whole bottle for the price of one cocktail.

The only place open that had food and alcohol last night was Buffalo Wild Wings, when I was really in the mood for Mexican food and margaritas at like 11:30. =(

Things are less expensive in Florida. I lived there 17 years. Oh well.

Checked a few throughout the country and most of the prices all match my local menu.

We usually end up at these while on work travel, not sure if we have a professional relationship with them like some other places or it's just what people are used too.

I tend to look for local independent eateries when I am on the road to get a taste of the town I am in. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose at that.

My first world problem was I was supposed to get a large refund yesterday...found out today they put it in as another withdrawl. Had to transfer money to checking to cover it until Monday when they can sort it out.

Went to son's YMCA soccer game this morning and all games were abruptly canceled and fields were cleared after someone spotted a few lightnings over the horizon

Since gas prices have gotten so low, it's hard to put an even $100 bill in the gas tank. I'm debating now whether to get gas before I go to the store, or after. Before, and I may have to go inside for change. After, and I may run out of gas :^/
