Deciding where to take my Caribbean vacation in December.

Ugh. My dad wants to go on a Caribbean cruise for Christmas. He booked it already and I'm supposed to drive down to Houston to meet him. I'm actually rather annoyed.

Kinda miss em myself I've been on many.

Who with ? I personally liked Princess for the big huge outdoor movie screen by the pool at night under the stars while chowing on seafood buffet stuff and drinking beers :p

The hit the Midnight Buffet for dessert hehe.

Or a the Dance club and some Martinis.

We used to do Royal Carribean a lot at one time, I'm a Gold member think the wife might be Platinum.

Went to grocery shopping tonight and tomatoes went up from $1/lb to $2, orange juice (store brand) went up to $4/gallon, beef went up to $5/lb or more, pork went up to $2/lb, chicken breasts went up to $2/lb. Heck, everything that I usually purchase went up <almost everything>. Well, at least the candies were on sale for $2/pack <fun size>.

Wife submitted headshots of our almost 5 year old triplets to an agency and they have called a dozen times in the last week to use the kids. Dont want them to be disney stars and end up ruined by Hollywood.

That's why you're their agent, financial adviser, and all around protection detail.

Some story on ESPN about a rookie making a lot of $$ and his Dad still has him on an allowance. The alter Alan Iverson.

How many wives do you have?

only one wife thankfully. I dont think man is supposed to have more than one crazy I mean soul mate.

Thinking of moving just so I can have more parking and storage space. I have a bunch of car projects and usually have 3-5 cars I flip. Want a 74 Vette or a 2 Wrangler with a lift? I make good price !

People on the internet keep misunderstanding the point of a thread and continually post complaints that are not only not restricted to the first world, but are actually more common in the third world, thus completely missing out on the chance to ironically consider minor problems as compared to one's privilege.

People on the internet keep misunderstanding the meaning of a threat and continually post complaints about posts.

First, second, and third world are cold war era terms. The only "first world problems" that existed are "McCarthyism has me being painted as a communist" or "Russia is coming to get me!"

congrats on the new job DC

Thanks,

Also: I can't announce my precise poison and salary for my new job because it is higher than the salary of every other professor on campus, regardless of seniority.

I think I'm going to be universally hated when my pay enters public-record next year.

Unpossible.
