Fuck M$ and Fuck Apple website/app designers who can't put simple information in an easily accessible place. I'm looking for my XBL subscription info and when I expire. I've spent the last 5 minutes on the MS/Xbox website looking for it and still can't find it. Even with their search bar and yes I'm logged in. WTF are you "professionals" doing with the UX design with 101 links???? Same goes for Apple and looking for account balance information on an Ipad. I wanted to throw the thing out the fucking window.
edit>> finally found it after going through "Change how you pay for Xbox Live Gold" after going through Billing and Payments after going through "Microsoft account" (not Xbox). Nope, it wasn't in Subscriptions. F YOU motherfuckers. And I never curse.

I ordered a book from an Amazon seller. Shipping label printed a week ago Monday but the package wasn't shipped until Friday. Now the book is bouncing around in Amazon's shipping system. Went from NJ to Salt Lake and now back to Denver. Amazon posted a message telling me to "check back on Sunday".

I always thought Krispy Kreme were considered decent, like better than Tim's? Tim Horton's donuts have gone quite downhill though, pretty much since they stopped being Canadian owned as they're just a typical capitalist company now always looking to cut costs.

Eh, I dunno. I did a test to see if I could find it... typed in "xbox live" in Bing and clicked the first link to go to xbox.com. Clicked login in the upper right. Then went to "My Microsoft account" and then "Services & subscriptions" up top. On that page I saw my Xbox Live details: "$9.99 every month, next charge on 8/15/2019." Probably took a little over a minute cause for some reason I couldn't login the first several times I tried (turned off ublock and that worked).
But I hear ya, pretty decent rant still!

Roundup is my friend. The wife doesn't much like that I kill the azaleas though. Maybe she should see about weeding....

Anyway, my FWP for the day (so far, but the day is far from over) is that my wife made way too many blueberry muffins from the fresh blueberries I picked off my bushes...so, of course, it falls to me to eat them all...

I don't like using chemicals but I'm at a point where I might have to take out the Weed B Gone for my own yard.
We did a decent amount of work, my mom, sister and her husband where there to help too, so it was not too bad. I'm really a fan of using powered equipment these days for stuff like this though. We did the worse but I told my mom if you REALLY want to get rid of everything we should just rent a tiller or even a mini excavator just to break up the ground. Most of the big stuff is easy to pull out by hand or with a weed puller, it's dealing with the smaller stuff that's bad.
But yeah it did clean up quite a bit. Was just some bushes and weeds and random plants that were out of control between the neighbour and my parent's yard. Neighbour was helping out too. It's kinda something they both want to fix and it's right on the property line.

Another FWP: My power went out and I never got an alert on my phone. Turns out none of my monitoring alerts have not been going out for months. Need to figure out why. I need to do some serious updates on my monitoring system anyway, right now it just sends the emails using raw SMTP commands. I should probably see if I can make it use sendmail or something like that.
Yeah, but now they say Roundup causes cancer...in a few years we'll be down to drinking a six pack of beer and pissing on weeds instead
