I'm triggered by the way he's holding that saw. Surely that's not good for the bar? :p
It shouldn't hurt the bar, but if he trips the felling dogs could go through his neck. I believe OSHA requires them to be covered when transporting the saw.

Went to get a glass of Michters rye, and apparently I drank it all. Can't find the bottle. Had to settle for Slane Irish. Could be worse I guess.

Haha. I guess I'll just go with Neptune's Inferno, about the US Navy at Guadalcanal, but I had added that to my Wishlist several weeks ago, before my brilliant thought that I can't remember now. I have a feeling it was some fiction book, not my usual history or non-fiction type, but who knows. Mother scratcher.

AirBnB host cancelled my Turks and Caicos reservation at the last minute without any warning. I had to scramble and book a new place paying more than double the price. With it being so close to the booking date, the selection was really slim and most favorable places already fully booked.

VRBO is no better. Lodging at Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, is just really expensive with very limited supply of rentals. $1,000/ night is the norm there. I ended up finding decent looking place at $600/ night.

Like ArcGIS, MS Office is the worst piece of software in its class except for every other piece of software in its class.
My needs are pretty straightforward. I use LibreOffice at work, and converted 2.5 machines aside from mine over to it. All my docs are in odt, and the only person it confounds is the idiot draftsman. I'd have more success teaching my cat quantum physics than teaching the draftsman just about anything. Simple logic eludes him :^/

edit:
For a reference, this is the guy that sends me a simple ascii file by printing out plain text, scanning it to pdf, then emailing me a pdf. He does this Every . Single . Time... I could see being a little flustered, and just doing something stupid like that to get work off in a timely manner, but after it was done, I'd be thinking "that digital-analog-digital conversion was really stupid. How could make that better?" Not him. That's just the way it's done :^S

Some bastard set off my apartment building's fire alarm...at 2 AM this morning.
(and with outside temps of 31 degrees F,a wind chill of 19 degrees F,and light snow falling..that was unpleasant.)

This has been happening way too often over the last few months.(the random fire alarms going off..)

Probably won't happen, but I'm hoping I can take a vacation day from work..stay home and catch up on my sleep.

If I do have to go into work this morning,I'm going to fall back into bed,for a nap.. soon after I get home and have lunch.

(I work half-days..8 AM PST to 11:30 AM PST.)
