I'm back for another bitch-o-the-day.

I really want a Surface Pro (2017 model, I'm not baller enough for the 6th gen ones) but dang, for the price of one you can get a pretty sick laptop for $900 or so. But the Surface is so sleek and sexy. Plus I think I'll get a lot of girls, when they see me with that thing it'll be like seeing my man Ryan Gosling naked helping a grandma with her groceries.

I mainly plan to use it for normal browsing as well as Android/.NET/Unity development, plus some gaming now and then. But I *don't* need a gaming laptop/device. I'd love to get the i7 model but the i5 is ok; I just want the 8GB/256GB specs (128 GB is too bush league).

Surface or no Surface, that is the question.

Surface sucks for coding... Too small a screen

Told my wife to get surface book at least. But no, it's too big...

She works with spreadsheets...

I'm falling apart. My thumb doesn't hurt as bad, but I can't feel it at all unless I bump it. Then it hurts, and it's really swollen. My hips hurt from spur climbing, and I got a new blister today from cutting vines. My right knee also hurts off and on. Getting old eats shit.
So, princess, my free advice...3 fish oil pills, 2 times per day. 1200mgs

Do it for 3 weeks, like clock work. No improvement, then quite. You've lost nothing but a few $$.

My experience has been very good. I "was" also taking cod liver oil, too, but stopped because that's nasty.

I do bruise easier but do your own research. Best of...

I'll check it out. I eat a fair amount of oily fish; probably four days/week at least. I'll see how that compares to the levels in pills.

Hmmm, that sounds like a valid point. I think I'll see if I can get my hands on one (there's a Microsoft store in the area I think) before I decide. Thanks for the input!

This is more like a third circle of hell problem than a first world problem but this was my wake up call this morning…

While I was laying in bed one of the cats jumped up on top of my head. My keen sense of smell told me things were terribly wrong, like finding oneself in a trench, in Belgium, in the rain level wrong. My sweet, loving kitty cat had diarrhea in the litter box, stepped in it, and was now walking on my head wrong. FUUUUUUUUU…!

A cat bath, a load of bedding in the laundry, a newly washed floor (the litter box is at the far end of the house from the bed), and a shower for me have improved things. The cat will live. Cute still works, barely.

Shitty story. Waking up to a dirty balloon knot is a terrible way to start a morning.

lol

I've caught puke in my hands before to keep my kid from blowing on the newly replaced sheets. He barley survived. No way would the cat.

This is your cat tracking crap around your face.

Ohhh nasty. Reminds me of how my cat finds the worse possible places to puke. She's been better lately, but it's a cycle really, she's good for a few weeks, then starts again.

My FWP is that I was suppose to go out for lunch with a friend but turns out he could not. He's on call and gets hours all over the place for work so he must have got called in. For his own sake I hope he can get in full time as I would hate having to always be on call like that and not knowing how many hours I'm getting.

Driving into work this morning, this toolface was basically tailgating me for a bit. We were in the middle lane in a 3 lane stretch. I saw that the far right lane was actually moving faster, and I needed to be in that lane coming up ahead anyway, so I put on my blinker, glanced over my shoulder, and merged. Well Mr Important wanted to get in that lane too, but he didn't signal and *when I had my blinker on and started to merge* he wasn't but he did right after I did and came really close behind me. So then he passed me on the left and then purposely cut right in front of me and got in front of me for a minute before merging further to the right. Ugh what a tool. I got it on my dashcam, I wanna check out the footage later just for the lulz.

Couldnt get a job even though we are living in the "greatest economy America has ever seen".
Couldnt get a doctor even though we all have "healthcare" now.
Couldnt get a package even though we have 5 ways to deliver things in America and they are all ultra computerized and process controlled.
Cant cure my headache even though the pharmaceutical companies have "coordinated" with the US Government to provide us with the greatest variety and finest quality drugs human civilization has ever seen.

While dining at my favorite local restaurant a couple of weeks ago the bar wench told me about Costco selling Kirkland branded Irish Cream. I gave it a shot this week, as it only cost $14.99 for the 1.75 Liter bottle. Got to say, it is pretty good compared to the St. Brandon brand I've been paying $22-23/bottle for.

Apparently I don't have permission to reply to your post IronWing, but dinner looks tasty.
I also don't see an edit button. The above appeared on my phone by magic. I started it on my desktop, but then lost permission to post. I think they're discriminating against me cause I use debian, and aren't contributing to their capitalistic enterprise.
