Speaking of alcohol, I did the math again and the most efficient means of injecting alcohol into my system involves buying 1.14 liter and up bottles of rum. Such a fool I am for buying poverty 375 ml bottles.

Went to Wegmans today, but they didn't have any winesap apples. Gonna have to checkout some of the local orchards. I did get a box of dark chocolate Toblerone bars for halloween. I've been toying with the idea for a few years, but never did it. Don't get many kids around here, so I thought I'd hook up the ones that do come.

Found out a new flashlight has a glow in the dark ring. Made in China... Do I trust them to not have used a radioactive material? It was cheap so using something radioactive should be cost prohibitive... but this is China we're talking about.

I wanted to get up early, but totally did not happen. Still recovering from night shifts so it takes a while to readjust the body clock. Got up at 3pm, when I actually wanted to get up at like 10am. Now I'm going to have to eat turkey with toothpaste taste left over in my mouth!

Do any businesses actually observe/respect Columbus Day anymore? The holiday itself seems to have a negative connotation these days. That might transfer to business that observe the holiday publicly.

Still, the negative connotation now associated with the holiday is our own first-world (new-world?) problem. I'm also working today

Judging by the fact the roads were basically empty this morning.... I'd assume yes. It was way more than just school traffic that was missing.

All the banks around here are closed because of Columbus Day so I can't make a large deposit to pay off my credit card.

After that short trip, I hit a chair corner at the office and hit the cell phone in my pocket and now the screen is messed up. No crack, no dent, the screen icons are all messed up even after I turned it off and back on. Time to get another one after work.

Oh, and I broke my favorite sunglass a few days ago at the left hinge.

I wish they were switchable. 99% of the time I'd rather charge at 500mA, but would like the ability to quick charge when necessary, and I don't feel like plugging it up to the computer every night.

I had ordered a Blu-ray movie from Amazon first week of September and it was Shipped from and Sold by Amazon as an in stock item. The next day it went OOS. Five weeks later they do not have any stock, but one of their partners does--except it is twice the price. Send email to Amazon asking what the protocol for this scenario is and I am told I am SOL. I am directed to cancel the order, place a new one from their partner and pay twice the price. WTF Amazon? So, I will buy the next ten Blu-ray movies from their competitors and notify Amazon at each instance.

From reading Note 7 fire comments, the Note 4, apparently, had a removable battery.

I stick to 500 mA but am willing to go up to 1 amp. With the phone off, that should charge up a 3000 mAh battery in 7 hours from empty. If I were desperate, I'd get a $20 portable lithium-ion battery.
