It's people like you that ruin the lifer status for the rest of us.

I went to the hardware store and wanted to pick up some sockets except they were in a cabinet. Only customer service dude was busy and I waited more than 5 minutes. Decided to go home and order it on Amazon.

I tested out my new table saw and realized I really don't have enough room in my garage to work properly. Need to do a cleanup, but without a shed not much I can really do. I really need to build a shed.

Depending on what your zoning is like, get a shipping container. Lay down a bed of gravel, concrete slab if you want to get fancy, and drop one in. Running utilities to it should be pretty straight forward. Just cut out a section of wall and insert whatever you need.

Those things last forever and used, you should be able to get one pretty cheap. Might want to check it for toxins since you never know what those things are transporting. But assuming you could give it a good steam cleaning before you move on site, I think you'd be golden.

Wanted to level my 72 Rogue to 100 via Legion Invasions in WoW today. Got called into work on my day off. :( And my mother needs me to resume sorting through her hoarding problem for a few days so this was my last chance to do it.

When I got into the shower this morning I had to compete with the washing machine for water pressure which has been low on this side of town for several weeks now with new construction contributing to the dilemma.

Wish I had a yard big enough for that. Our city is bad when it comes to bylaws though even if I did. Anything bigger than 100sqft and you need a permit... which in the end translates to higher taxes. Though a shipping container is not really a building technically... so not sure if that would count. Businesses get screwed even more by that. They can't build warehouses without having to give their first born to the city, so they just build domes instead. (basically a giant tent)

As for today's FWP, I got up way later than I wanted to. I set my alarm for 11pm, but I pretty much slept through it. I kinda remember going to turn it off but don't remember anything after that. Wokeup at like 3pm. Debating on what to eat now, I don't really feel like making anything, might go to Wendy's. I was actually going to pick something up a while ago when I went to get cat food but there was some kind of weird traffic jam of people trying to turn left so I said screw that and went home instead. I might end up going back before 5 hits. Mmmmmm Baconator.

First time ever using an XLR cable on a microphone. I saw the release tab, I pressed the release tab, couldn't disconnect the cable. Pulled harder and still no luck. Pressed release tab harder, the cable slid right out. FML. Hope my manly muscles didn't fuxxorz the tab or the steel retention hole on the microphone side.

Ordered a battery for my robot at work, but I guess it's coming from China, and has an estimated delivery of Sept 22. Problem is I'm gonna be grading beams at night before that I think. Last time it took eight batteries to get the job done, and I barely made it. I also don't know how well this'll work. I wanted to test it ahead of time, cause I'm gonna have to rig it to my setup. I'm hoping it gets here quicker than projected...

I went to a store to buy shit locally. Their online stock check said they had it in stock, but when I got there, I couldn't find it behind the glass in the locked cabinet. Ended up paying for the more expensive versions and spent as much as I would have if I bought it online.

Spent this afternoon to do maint. tasks on my vehicle and when I started it to go out, the engine was hesitated and hard to start and it was late to go to the auto parts store. So I made a short run to McD because I had a coupon. Purchased 2 kid meals (B1G1) and the meals were small and the total price was a little over $6 after sale tax. So now I am home because I did not want to get stuck late at night from a potential bad battery. Will have to wait tomorrow morning so the auto parts store people can check the battery. It was less than 3 years old. Hopefully it will be fully cover under warranty.

What a day. At least it did not rain anymore (for now). So now I am here with you fools. :)
