What first world problem did you have today?

The new bread loaf and baking pans I got had some crud stuck to the bottom where the folded the steel to avoid a razor sharp edge. Washed those fuckers like 3 times.

And I grabbed a handful of grease after picking up an old bag of candy. Not sure what it was, washed it good...

Got to work this morning and found out that snow/ice slid off the roof of one of our units and collapsed the battery shed roof below. The shed roof landed on the top half of the battery lineup and shorted the entire thing out. Bad things happened. Sparks were involved. Today will be fun

I ate so much $17/lb ribeye caps lately that I'm going on a diet.

a pound of ribeye is 1300 calories?!
then you add the butter.
and the sides.
and the $250 bottle of Macellen 18yr single malt scotch.

god.. so many calories for one meal.
it probably would have sustained an entire African tribe for a day.


now to have this as a standalone 1st world problem post, I need to add:
I probably saved $200 by making this myself vs ordering it from a 4star restaurant.
(they expect 25% tip minimum. )

saving hundreds of $ for a single 30 min meal = win

Fucked up my bread this time around. Made no-knead bread and made it even lazier. If it weren't for the fact that the bread was glued to the stainless steel pan, it would have come out pretty well because the taste and texture were there.

And while getting a plate out of a cabinet, I noticed something, yada yada yada, spent over an hour reorganizing everything and relining the shelves.

There are plenty of food here, just the serving portions/sizes are a lot smaller than in the States and no free refills of sodas/drinks at the fastfood places. I do miss the States already.

I needed to have the squealing brakes on my car fixed at the dealership. While they were working on it, it started raining. They finished it up, but I refused to take it out in the rain. I don't drive it in the rain or on wet roads. I had to leave it at the dealership safe from the wet stuff. I'll pick it up tomorrow after work. The roads should be dry by then.

It was nice to drive it to the dealership after it was sitting in my garage for 1 and 1/2 months.

New problem... Local channel bought the rights to American Crime Story. It doesn't premiere until tomorrow on FX, I think, but now I have to watch it a day earlier and think about rewatching it tomorrow.
