met an awesome girl...she is a bigger nerd than me (and possibly a little hotter).
she plays computer games...her boobs arent as big as I hoped they would be (damn you victoria's secret!)
on the plus side we have our 4th date in an online game (first virtual date ive ever been on)...at least my internet connection is blazing...
I was going to tell him to have her speedtest her internet to see if she was an actual nerd. For shits and giggles I speedtested myself and got less than half the speed I've always gotten in the past. I have to live with 117.59mbits/s down like an animal for tonight. Fucking Bullshit.

They are serving bagels and coffee this morning for our director (who is being transferred from our department) and another guy who is retiring (45 years - not a bad run...), the problem is I already ate a (much healthier) breakfast. They are also ordering in pizza for the same reason this afternoon. Too many carbs and too much grease - I'm going to be in a coma by 2:30. :(

I need an RG6 coax cable coupler... Can't tell if it matters if they're rated for 1 GHz, 3 GHz or whatever. Experience tells me no, it's just a small contact between two cable ends, but I rarely use this shit...

I face the proposition of either having $1,500 worth of computer parts left on my porch unattended for several hours in full view of potential thieves, or having to wait until tomorrow to go to the main FedEx branch to do an in-person pickup. Frankly, both options sound annoying.

Rented a ford mustang GT last weekend for a little road trip and now I'm in love and want to buy one. I could go get one right now without it affecting my income at all but we already have five cars in my household :(

my BF is sleeping on the couch and I can't figure out if he's pissed for some unknown reason, just happened to pass out there, or is actually giving me the bed on purpose since we had a conversation today wherein I mentioned the fact that the only way for me to sleep comfortably in this stupid leg brace is diagonally across the bed (pretty much every morning he's been getting out of bed, taking a shower, and then returning to the bedroom to find me sprawled out across the bed as soon as he left)

edit: fuck, I ruined it. not 30 seconds after posting this, he stumbled into the bedroom half-asleep and plopped down in bed.

Why don't you just ask him if he could take the couch a few days a week?

You do know that by telling him what you told him you didn't ask him, right?

he actually offered, and I told him not to because I'd miss him in bed. but I also miss being able to sleep comfortably, so I'm damned either way.

god willing, I get the OK from my doctor at my next appointment to start taking the brace off when I sleep.

Ask him to sleep on the couch and have him Skype into bed.

GWXUX stopped working when I booted my system today:(...

Then I looked up what the hell GWXUX was and found out it was the Get Windows 10 icon in my effing tray.

Our lovely state government doesn't have a budget in place and today was the first day of operating without a budget.

Bought a 6pack of Natty Boh cans today. $7!? WTF's up with that?! I wanted a cheap American beer. For $1 more I could have gotten Guinness, which is 1000% better, even if it's Canadian. Fuckin' hipsters driving up the price on the undeserving. Where's the American blue collar beers? Yuengling's close, but hipsters raised the price of that too :^S

PBR, old man.

You know it's cheaper, in the long run, to brew your own. I'm just too lazy.

My father got me a home brew kit ~20 years ago, and I never used it. The biggest obstacle in my mind was washing the bottles. One day I'll have to make some beer. Today's not that day though.

 Agreed. The quick shop is 200 yards down the road.

Unless you find a good woman that will wash the bottles.....:sneaky:....I can ship you 10 or 12 cases if you like.:D

I don't drink enough beer to warrant brewing my own. In the past I've made plum wine, made liqueurs from vodka and stuff. Done a bunch of other home brewing stuff, made kefir and bread today, as a matter of fact. I had an ale with dinner, but it had been maybe 6 weeks or more since I'd done that.

I've been playing way too much tennis and have acquired I very nice blister (approximately the size of Mount Rushmore) on the ball of my right foot. It seems to be underneath the giant callus I already have there. It hurts to walk on it.

Extraction of two wisdom teeth this morning along with some reparation of couple of cavities.

Worst day this year for me.

I need two small blocks of wood. Getting a 2x4 would be the cheapest, simplest, option, but there's no Home Depot nearby and I don't want to deal with cutting wood.
