Oh my dear God. I was going to use the bag of potatoes this afternoon to make some homemade chips for this weekend. I picked up the bag and the potatoes were liquefied. Thank God I keep them in a bin on the floor and not directly on the floor. The smell is so fucking rancid I want to puke. I was wondering what the hell that was...... D: D: D:

that happened to me once... it was a traumatic experience.

I think it's the result of sunlight plus poor air ventilation.

I misread my company's new hire vacation policy :(

I thought I got my vacation days at 3 months... turns out, they start accruing at 3 months, but I can't use them till I hit 6 months.

My pantry doesn't get any sunlight at all and has little to no ventilation - unless you consider the door being opened once in a while 'ventilation'. I'm thinking it was the crazy heat we had last week for a few days straight. I only turned the AC on in that area of my apt for one of those days. I kept the AC on in my bedroom for days straight. Oh well. I made homemade hummus and bought some pita chips instead - probably healthier that way :D

the lack of ventilation was probably a big contributing factor.

potatoes should be stored in a cool, dark place but with adequate air flow.

Just opened the fridge, and a lightbulb went off. Not the one in the fridge, the one in my head. I filled the hummingbird feeder with lemon/lime seltzer water earlier. I thought the bottle was more empty than I remembered. I have the bird food in a seltzer bottle with the label removed. I was tired, and not paying attention.

Now I'm in my undies, and don't feel like getting dressed to change it. To get to the feeder, I have run a gauntlet of stickers, and don't want to do it bare legged.

My week vacation is officially over. I have to go back to work Monday. Only 2 8 hour shifts then I'll be off again though, then night shifts.

Planned on making eggs and toast this morning and then realized I had no butter for the pan so I had to oil. Now my eggs suck. :( At least I got to use the new espresso machine... it's fantastic!

No butter and you aren't also complaining that the toast was dry? o_O

can't decide what game I want to play today, and I've got nothing else to do.

kinda bored with both my MMORPG's (SWTOR and FFXIV) and I don't have any Android or Vita games I feel like playing.

Funny you mention this. Being that I already have been productive today (gym & laundry are already done!) and it's pretty miserable outside... Part of me wants to go back in time and bust out FFT or the FF Anthology I have - I believe it's 2 & 3? Don't remember.... but good god the amount of time I spent playing FFT back in the day is sickening looking back.

Just fired up FFT and my old PS2 controller isn't working right. The right side of the controller (traingle, x, etc. buttons) aren't working at all. The d-pad works fine. I opened up the controller and everything looks good. I think the cable itself might be shot :(
